Crossdressing is awesome.

Yeah, there is a point when the line between dressing "normal" and crossdressing is blurred, that's because what defines crossdressing is societal norms in that crossdressing, well, fucks with them. But girls can still crossdress. You can get shorter haircuts, wear male clothing (there's a difference between girl's jeans and guy's jeans, same with shirts), ect. If you want proof, use Google :p.

Men in dresses = Crossdressing.
Women in jeans = Awesome.

When you get right down to it, there really is no such thing as crossdressing for women now. Men will always seem wrong in a dress (and no, kilts do not count).

I don't care what pieces of fabric a person wants to put on their body. Society as a whole will probably have issues though.

I dont mind. Some of my friends have, and I have. Its nothing big, and if you want to, I dont see why you cant. There's a double standard in it really.

You kinda have to think back why women are allowed to wear these things while men arent. Many Men love to see women expose their bodies, hence why women where skirts. On the other hand, women aren't attracted to men who expose their bodies so men just wear what keeps them comfy yet looking decent.

I don't care what men wear, but i prefer to wear whatever is practical, instead of what looks nice, not saying that im going to go dress in checkerboard pants and a striped shirt.

I'm bothered when homosexual men do/wear creepy stuff for attention. It's kind of like throwing it in my face when I don't give a damn about your life choices in the first place.
What about when heterosexual men cross dress?
why would any heterosexual man crossdress? besides halloween?
Because I like the feeling of fresh air against my manly parts. :p

OT: I've got no problem with it. Sure some it can look weird to me, but that's probably just due to social programing. Damn you learned bias!

Hell I've even considered it myself. Mainly just to fuck with people. But I have to admit wearing a kilt or skirt would probably be pretty comfortable.

'Course you can cross dress is an annoying manner, but you can regularly dress in an annoying manner. Please don't try to fit all those extra sexy pounds of you into a piece of clothing meant to hold in only alot less. Unless that's the point... Whatever do as you like. I'll (try) not to judge.

"Girls can wear jeans and cut their hair short, wear shirts and boots, because it's okay to be a boy. But for a boy to look like a girl is degrading, because you think that being a girl is degrading."

I'm not saying that quote is completely true or comprehensive, but it's thought provoking. If girls can wear traditionally manly clothing, why do people think it's disgusting for men to wear traditionally feminine clothing?

It turns them on? They want to troll fundamentalists and homophobes?

It kinda all seems flashy to me which tells me they are trying to get attention.

I don't honestly care if you do it, just as long as you know how you look.

I rock the bathrobe all day, erryday.

Do what you want, it's your right to dress how you choose, but don't get up in my face about it.

Why not? It's not hurting anyone, so it shouldn't be problem.

I mean, I can wear a dress or a shirt and jeans and I'm fine, but my guy friends would be mocked and made fun of if they wore the same thing. Why? Because society is silly and has these preconceptions of what is and isn't acceptable between genders.

I personally think that's just silly. If a guy wants to wear a dress and makeup, that's his business, just like it's my business that I choose not not wear either.

honestly I could not care less if ladies want to dress like the boys, or if the boys want to dress like the ladies

this in no way effects my life, and frankly I dont see why anyone would be bothered by it.

Is there such a thing as crossdressing anymore? It seems that girls can wear blue jeans, polos, and hoodies without being crossdressing. But also these versions of them are heavily feminized. On the other hand there are some things that are still called crossdressing, a man wearing drag, for instance. But these things only apply to males. It would seem that there is no such thing as female crossdressing. What are your thoughts on the subject?
It's mostly just called butch at this point, instead of crossdressing. I see women wearing men's jeans and shirts and the like all the time, and you're right, most people don't think of it as crossdressing.

I suggest if you're in Brisbane, Queensland anytime soon go to The Beat, The Wickham or Family (on fluffy night). Believe me your first question will instantly, luridly and vividly be answered.

I've seen women dressed as men. On several occasions I've even seen women with fake or penned on facial hair. You mention jeans, polos and hoodies, but as you also point out what they wear are feminized versions. I've seen women wearing clothes that are intentionally masculine.

I remember a builder who had come through to price out renovating the kitchen I worked at. I couldn't work out what was out of place with this guy until one of the managers pointed out he was a she and she was also going out with a female manager from an affiliated venue. She did not look or sound female.
Also once at my local, I was at the bar when what I thought was a young skinny kid wondered past the bar. When the person left we all looked at each other and said "was that a guy or a girl?" It turned out to be a young waifish girl who only dressed in guys clothes and cropped her hair in a men's style.
I also once saw a lesbian couple walking in the Myer mall. At first glance you would have thought they were a young hetro couple, up close though one of the girls had her hair cut short in a men's style, wore a man's suit and tie and had a penned on goatee.

I'm noticing a lot of people talking about jeans as though traditionally only men should wear them and women only wear them to feel at home with the boys.

My mother used to wear jeans when she was a child and that was back in the 1940s, and I've always considered both items to be gender neutral. Could someone clarify their thoughts on this.

Who decides what are woman cloths and what are guy cloths, and why should you care what someone else wears?
^ Love this ty Nova ^

OT: Speaking from the point of view as someone that has thought a great deal about it. I don't mind it & wish I could get away with it but alas I haven't the body for it. As for those that say people do it for attention that may be true on rare occasion but not always. I would do it just to feel like the girl I should be I would love to be pretty. Basically I think that is more along the line of thinking they just want to feel pretty. Or it might just be me.

All in all I have to agree with Nova what does it really matter...

Whatever floats your boat and sinks the naval ship.

Clothes are clothes, people should have the right to wear what they want. I would assume a world claiming 'freedom' wouldn't try to hinder the freedom of wearing whatever makes someone happy.
