Your Opinion On Megan Fox's Acting Ability

Mother fucking ninjad on the first post. Well gentlemen, it appears I am among my people.

I went in here hoping I'd be the one to get a clever snipe like "What acting ability?"

I knew it wasn't going to happen.

ANYWAY...

Yeah, she can't act. To me, she comes across as more... attempted temptress? No... She doesn't even get *that* much. Even in movies where she's a main character, she doesn't do anything good for the role she plays. At least, in my opinion.

As much as I'd like to just go out on a limb and say that she can't act at all, I don't want to do that just yet.

I've only seen three movies she's been in, two of them being the Transformers films. (The other is Jonah Hex, if you wanted to know.)

Now, action movies in general don't really consist of good acting, because it isn't required. She fulfilled her job as the love interest and eye-candy for the audience, and therefore did the job fine. Tell me, really, would you go into either of those films thinking "hey, we might see an Oscar-winning performance today"? No. And if you were, you don't know the subject matter we're dealing with here very well.

Once I see her in a couple of dramas, then I'll decide. Passion Play, even though it has gotten terrible reviews, interests me strictly because of the cast. I will see it, and that's likely the best chance Fox has actually gotten to truly act.

Oh, and I think that acting alongside CGI will always be really difficult, so the all of the Transformers actors should not be judged on their acting ability based on those film. (Or at least, the parts that feature the robots. So, around 50% of the entire films. ;p)

I think she's a very poor actress, she doesn't emote and she spends most of her time with a blank face. She exists in most movies as nothing but pointless eye candy and she even managed to overdo and mess up the 'Evil Demon Seductress' role.

Plus, I hear she isn't very nice in real life, if the remarks by crewmembers who worked on Transformers are any indication. Maybe her poor acting wouldn't be so obnoxious if she at least came across as a decent person.

She is not as bad in the other movies that she does in Transformers she is a bit boring. I also don't think she really deserves the hate as she is not the one who casts the people in the rolls and she is also not the person that spurs the actors on to do well. So given that she seems to be doing the job she was asked to do she is alright.

I beg to differ. Her presence made Jonah Hex, an already below average movie, considerably worse.

she got fired by Spielberg not for being an asshole but for making a comment which was inappropriate. and Spielberg did the right thing. but just because he fired her doesn't mean she's banned from acting in hollywood (and you'd have to piss off a lot of people to accomplish that). her acting abilities are average at best but if she trained a little bit better i think she would be better for it. and should lay off the ww2 material when describing directors.

Yaap, she's just screen filling. If anything, her career and skill as an actrice is a good representation of Mister Bay himself; on the surface she might be pretty to look at, but when you look under that thin veneer you see it's devoid of substance, quality and mostly just hot air.

That is, she as an actress. I of course have no idea what she's like in person.

But you know what's the worst about her? This:

Such a waste to see a pretty cute girl, despite all the make-up there, transform into a hideous Generic Bimbo Nr.6483. Fuck you Hollywood.

I have seen worse acting from females. I find K Stewart's Bella in Twilight less dynamic than Fox's characters, though, that isn't saying much

She was hot. That's what Bay looks for when he makes movies; hot chicks, big explosions, and awesome special effects. Anyone who thinks she ever had acting ability needs to get their heads checked. And, on the same note, anyone who thinks she isn't hot needs to do the same.

Not hot, any pictures you've seen she was hot, was extremely photoshoped.

If I may, what isn't hot about that picture? Admittedly, people have different tastes, but with the exception of slightly over-done lipstick I'm not seeing anything even remotely barfable about that photo.

Alternative question; who would you say is hotter than her? Admittedly, she's not the absolute hottest girl ever made on this fair world, but she's certainly in the top 10% at the very least, and likely significantly higher.
