Oh... What would you recommend then? Do you know any Canadian brews?

OT, favorite drink of mine has got to be Jack Daniels whiskey mixed with Doctor Pepper. So good.
Least favorite drink is a red headed step child. Was something like peach schnapps, vodka, pineapple juice and something else all mixed. That was horrid tasting.

Liek I said, I have no clue about Canadian lager so Bud was just a shot in the dark. i never said it was any good.
Exactly "a lot people" when there would likely be a huge market for people who just want the effect without the taste. In this thread for example how many people have posted not liking the taste of various alcoholic drinks?Wadders said:What so it would be like alcoholic water?Ryum said:It has actually surprised me that with today's science there has not been a non flavored, no taste alcoholic beverage released yet.
It would be boring as fuck, and a lot of people drink for the taste, not just to get pissed. So that would be kinda pointless.

Yeha, but you can get so many different tastes from alcaholic drinks. Ciders and perry are sweet, and you can get stuff like Vk and WKD which is basically like sugary fruit juice with booze in it, and of couse theres a multitude of different tastes in beers, ales, lagers and all the different kinds of spirits. Theres something for everyone as far as taste goes, so why would you want somethign tasteless when you could have something that tasted nice?Ryum said:Exactly "a lot people" when there would likely be a huge market for people who just want the effect without the taste. Well, that's basically what clear vodka is trying to achieve - 40% alcohol content but with as little smell and taste as possible. Of course this is an impossible benchmark and the stuff still smells and tastes rank because alcohol is very strong stuff, but when people talk about the "smoothness" of vodka what they are really saying is "this stuff has been distilled to the point where it doesn't taste as gross as vodka usually does". The idea is that with a really good quality vodka, if you put it in a lemonade, OJ or some other mixer, it won't taste as obvious as cheap vodka, which means you can put more in and get more alcohol concentration for the same amount of "taste degradation".Ryum said:It has actually surprised me that with today's science there has not been a non flavored, no taste alcoholic beverage released yet.
This is right, which is why I go for sky or better qualityBonsaiK said:Well, that's basically what clear vodka is trying to achieve - 40% alcohol content but with as little smell and taste as possible.
