Signature abilities: Martial Artist of unmatchable speed and technique, can alter his physical appearance, can return to the realm of shadows, returning to his original form, and has some control over the element of earth. Is also possessed by a scarlet aura, but he constantly suppresses it.
Back story: Was killed by his own father at the age of two. Went to hell and formed an instinctive pact with the devil. Returned as a demon who is driven to kill those who practice injustice. Very rarely seriously uses the scarlet energy against anyone, and never allows it to manifest in its unleashed form of an consuming aura, as it'd disintegrate anything it touches. However, a frequent trick is to reinforce his limbs with this red energy, making them indestructible and extremely powerful, also manifesting in an aura, only not tangible. Was defeated by the Muse in combat, and left the servitude of the Devil, now a different character altogether.
Pictures: Hm, yeah, should produce one. Normally looks like a young, tall man, but remains to be explained in detail, due to the fact that he always seems to walk in shadow. Also, since he can change his physical manifestation, it's not constant. Has been seen as a dark, very large, muscular man when in combat.

Signature abilities: Wields an indestructible kwandao given to her by Dalsoon-nim, the moon, capable of cleaving a horse and its rider in two and can conjure up strong winds by spinning it. Has a large energy bow given to her by the goddess of the hunt, Hash-Inau-Uk, which she can pull forth from inside her brigandine armour, and uses medicinal flowers to heal wounds (not effective in combat), and reduce pain (effective in combat, allowing her to fight through the pain). Has recently acquired a very rare flower, which she has made into an extremely potent sleeping powder. Is more than proficient in Hung Ga Kuen, and has had extensive training in secret Shaolin techniques. Extremely strong, despite appearances (duh, her weapon weighs a hundred pounds).
Back story: Lived with her clan until the age of fourteen when it was wiped out by the aspiring Shogun, as he deemed the clan much too dangerous should a civil war engulf the land. Fleeing the battle by the command of her father through an escape tunnel, she left her beloved renowned military clan behind. As she swore revenge, she began terrorising guardsmen of the Shogun, assassinating hundreds of soldiers for two years full, earning her the nickname "Death Willow". Upon meeting with a Shaolin monk while visiting China on a foul quest to kill an ambassador of the Shogun, she soon realised the error of her ways. Taken in by the monk, she stayed at their mountain temple for three years before setting out anew to find a new path for her life to follow. As she arrives at the arena, she had been saved earlier that day from a horde of brigands by a young man with black hair, wielding a bo made out of hard, compressed earth and metal gauntlets and greaves. In the heat of battle, she had overheard him mumbling something about someone named "Kumi" is as such looking for these two persons.
Pictures: Her upper body is covered in layered brigandine armour (inner layer thin leather, then a chain mail, then red leather armour), a short brownish-red skirt and sturdy leather boots. A young, very beautiful woman of nineteen years and a pure heart, who nowadays dislikes fighting and prefers taking care of others.

Description: Tall young man of blonde hair and blue eyes. Dressed in simple white robes. Very muscular, and wields steel gauntlets and greaves. Has control over the element of earth, can focus his qi to work in many ways, and is a master of eastern martial arts. Has become even more powerful in close combat, capable of creating explosions through his strikes and regaining massive amounts of energy through his endless strike combos, and suchlike. Has also learned to do limited healing through his control of the element of earth and water, and has increased exponentially in means of manipulating it.
Background: Was returned from service as the Devil's foremost demon, and lives now as a young man, seeking to repent for his deeds. As he was returned, all his memories remained intact, and as such all of his combat skills as well. Had no relatives or friends, apart from Sozia, and a Korean girl he saved once, known as Arma. Wanders across the eastern world on a spiritual journey to gain wisdom and power to aid those in need. After going through the first trial of Heroes, he was assigned to do solo missions, and has thus continued his spiritual journey across many corners of many worlds. Legends have risen among many a civilisations, telling the tale of a young demi-god and his inhuman feats, and bards of all kinds of species have composed songs in his honour. The most common retelling when he saved all life on the eastern coast of China from an enormous tsunami by creating a mile-high barrier of soil by the coastline. He remains a mystery to most, but the young Heroine that is Fang, who has gotten to understand him like no other. Owes a life debt to the great warrior woman Sozia, and has had contact with the Korean warrior woman Arma, when he saved her life once. Still searching for Sozia, he is also being searched for by Arma, but appreciates the friendship he has found in Fang so much that he is no longer as concerned by this matter as he once was.

Short Bio: Rhys and his younger sister Mia were born on an orchard tended by a Corinthian monastery. Their father had left their mother for a skirmish; a minor conflict of guilds with the Stygians, and their mother had followed in panicked despair only to fall victim on the ravaged plains of the battleground. They had no one but each other, though the orchard was regularly visited and tended to by a replacement, Brother Muarim, sent from the monastery, who became like an uncle to them. They were both allowed to study and be fed by the monastery in exchange for working for them, as soon as they were able.
And so was it that one day Mia left the monastery without telling anyone why, and Rhys set out after a moment's doubt to find the one who mattered the most to him. The only rumour he has heard so far is that she has joined the Stygians, something he struggles with denying.

Bio: Lethe is a traceur by life, running errands on the rooftops of her home town as transportation by automobile services takes more time and is easy to spot and hinder. She doesn't remember much of her past, which is why she was given her codename, and has only lost more and more of her distant memories as time has passed. The most prominent memory she has is waking up on a rooftop with only faded tattoos on her body to wear. She made her way to the warehouse and proceeded to sow her own clothes after many days of trial and error. Her place is an old, abandoned warehouse, where she spends a lot of her time training, as work is scarce in her business. She is well-known in the seedy underbelly of her town, and wishes she wasn't.
Description: Apparel; dark green shorts, light-green top on her upper body held fast by a small two-part leather belt, wrappings around lower arms, leather glove on the right hand covering mostly the back side of the hand and the thumb to a degree (strapped on by leather strands to her lower arm), thick leather strap bound around her left thigh, wrappings on the valve of her left foot and up to end in the middle of her shin bone, high leather shoes that allow for freedom of movement, green silk collar around her neck, leather pouch strapped to her belt on the back.
Lethe has short orange hair down to her neck, forming gentle curves as it follows her face to frame it, with one small tassel in her neck.
She also has two pointy light-red tattoos originating by the side of her neck, ending in two separated sharp edges on either sides of her cheeks. She has cold eyes of a slightly bright purple colour, and stands no more than 5'7, weighing around 110 lbs.
Abilities: Strong, amazing stamina and speed, and is very agile. A masterful acrobat and martial artist. She thinks and reacts quickly, has incredible reflexes and knows a lot of martial arts. Headstrong like a bull, and of indomitable willpower. Has a tendency to sceptical patterns of thought, but treasures company and a select few people. She is impulsive as her instincts has saved her life countless times, and tends to strive to enter "the zone" of adrenaline-fuelled focus. She can also sow. Very well.

Description: Boyd always had an easy time learning, as well as improving physical traits and adapting his body. He has green hair held up by a brown headband, brown eyes and usually wears a red, thick, rugged tank top and greyish-green slightly cargo-like pants, also preferring boots.
Background: Boyd was found wandering the deserts by a Terran scout party. They took him in, examined him and tested him. Since he had no memory of his past, they gave him a name. He was filed as a teek, and extensive testing proceeded. After a few weeks of examining, the neuropsychologists found he was inflicted with two brain anomalies, one of which he was the first case to display. From birth, he has had recurring amnesia, effectively wiping out his memories on a random, sporadic basis. Sometimes it takes up to a year, sometimes only days, but most often it takes several months. He retained his knowledge, reflexes and learned behaviour, but the events that occurred to him were lost. Because of this, his past is completely unknown. The second of his anomalies was a hyperactive serotonergic system which seemed to heighten his premonition capabilities, and sometimes cause hallucinations. Due to his strong psychokinetic powers however, the scientists were determined to continue monitoring him. In time, they hoped to regulate his unusual qualities. They have had to install and renew several psi-screens on him, and has subjected him to many sessions of ghost conditioning, effectively lowering the frequency of which his amnesia occurs greatly, and dampening his hallucinations.
Personality: Boyd feels deserted, and looks for a big brother figure. He is reclusive as his powers has hurt people and scared him to stay away from them, but gentle and adaptable in essence (he has to be). He likes flowers and history.

Description: Stands 6'2, weighs 140 lbs. He has fairly long hair, a dull azure colour to it. His eyes are almost the same colour, only slightly brighter. He wears air force blue (yes, it is a colour) flowing robes reinforced with leather armour. He has leather pads over the shoulders reinforced by steel to connect in two crossing leather straps going down to his dividing two-part steel belt. To the belt is a scabbard fastened.
Background: Arcgale was the son of a peasant, but joined with the local militia, more in accordance with his interests of adventure, women and achieving his full potential. After fighting off the main of a bandit attack, he was noticed by the Emperor's forces and drafted to them. He studied and served there for many years, becoming a famed lieutenant, although he spent much of his studying time with the sages of the land. During dark times, the emperor of the lands changed radically and ordered the full-scale attack on a peaceful bordering ally land. Arcgale was in inner turmoil at what to do as his forces pillaged peaceful villages unprovoked, but eventually deserted his emperor and became a mercenary.
Abilities: Arcgale is considered one of the best swordsmen in the lands, but his true power lies in his ability to channel magic into his blade, something he has kept a secret. Secretly, he is also actually a feline laguz (beast changeling), but his parents has magically concealed this on both him and them.
Equipment: His self-crafted magic-channelling longsword Elipse, leather armour with steel details.

Back story: Kilit was a Jedi Knight who had just been promoted as his master was destroyed by Darth Talon. Lived on Coruscant and was secretly trained as a Padawan for years, starting at the early age of five. Kilit is an orphan, and has never met his parents, but lived on the street with his older sister who took care of him. When taken in by the Jedi Master, his sister was given a residence in the back streets.
Kilit swore revenge, however, to avenge the master that had given him so much, and left his sister to find the murderer.
On the foolish quest he came in contact with the bounty hunter Aregen Fett who turned out to be force-sensitive and as proficient in the destructive arts as a Sith Lord. Upon battling him, Kilit touched the dark side and was nearly annihilated by Aregen and his accomplice before making his way out of there and abandoning the haphazard mission. He now travels worlds looking to redeem himself.
Personality: Cheery and social, but can lapse into periods of seriousness.

Background and appearance: Mira is a young, beautiful woman of French origin with short brown hair and a sturdy, yet elegant, body. She has trouble with people, though she generally can find them interesting and thus, enjoy them. Some say it is because of problems with expressing herself. She was raised in a militaristic family of proud background and has thus received training in the art of the rapier, as well as firearms. Much to the dismay of her parents, she enjoyed tweaking with oily and dirty things more. She's can be sassy and takes no crap from anyone. At the age of fourteen, her village was attacked by massive radscorpions, and since then she has been living in the wastes, travelling between settlements, helping people for eight years straight now.

Appearance: Saar is a man of severity, and it shows in his hardened face, riddled with numerous now mostly faded small scars. Slightly tanned skin, and has complete heterochromia with one brown eye and one hazel. He has short, crew cut brown hair and most often wears a light-brown uniform. He is muscular but, most of all, his scar-covered body is accustomed to battle and the strain that comes with it.
Description: Saar was raised by an unloving father who made his life an ordeal and put him through hard work before he was able to actually handle it. He has become exceedingly good at adapting because of this, but has also built up inner rage. At the age of 16, he left his father to join a band of mercenaries that was hiring all they could find. He went through many strange assignments that he obviously wasn't sent on with his well-being in mind, but he made it back time and time again, covered in blood, with the mission accomplished. After working with the scum for five years, working up some cash, he decided it was time to set out on his own. He stole the starship of the leader and went out to work for those that paid decently. He couldn't work for someone he despises, however. As of present, he works for Tallhart, having taken a liking to the man. He has stayed in his crew for almost two years now. The job of first mate meant a big change in his way of life, but he has gotten used to winding down a bit, doing less killing, maiming and hunting.
He is more than proficient in melee combat, marksmanship, space combat and space travel.

Rebirth. The rekindling of something unending. This was the first time she would experience it.
And returning to the great forge was unique. It could not be explained through any means of communication, she thought. To see the creation in its essence, to be its core, to eternally feel all life ever transcended through cosmos and the universe. It rendered so much insignificant, and to herself she found that this, this, is the fate of all things of nature. This answered all the questions, erased all doubt that could be found in existence. But it also woke new ones. And the vision provided would forever alter all way of life.
Her quest seemed unchanged before this. It would have felt frustrating was it not for new-found insight.
Erupting out of the crater that was a volatile volcano seconds ago, raining ash and acid over the lands, Ashlen was complete. Reforged. She had turned to dust, scattered in the winds, and she had been content. To someone so involved in the pure essence of war, she would gladly give her existence up.
Now, however, she remembered only her last moments, and she was young. As young as can be, but with the only experience that could matter. Or was it?
Perhaps not, she thought. But in it she saw the world through different eyes, and would watch the knight with interest. Soaring high in the skies, she observed the arena from a great distance. He would know she was back simply through this.

DWELLING: Lives in the mountains, sporting small, speedy wings. Slim but wiry, with slick light blue metallic scales adorned with mystical carvings, covering a body designed for speed. Has huge razor sharp fangs and claws used in combat, capable of tearing into anything. A vicious fiend, but seems to care mostly for the interest of others.
BACKGROUND: Was the head of an old dragon King's private bodyguard. As the King fled to Mar Cuajada, as all Cuelebre do when they come of age, Khallos was left with a small kingdom to rule. He shuns this task, however, leaving it mostly in the hands of his first lieutenant Haar. He lives with the populace of frost dragons high up in the mountains, their halls not so concealed, since very few entities can even reach this place. He likes to roam freely across the world, helping others when he can, this often meaning killing beasts who have gone on a rampage, and mourns the loss of his spouse, who was assassinated in an attempt at killing the old dragon King.

Name: Freydis Harvor
Bio: Freydis is a woman of Icelandic origins, but was born and raised in Sweden. She was trained in the ways of the shieldmaidens away from her parents since the age of four and was the most fearsome warrior of her village. Her skill with the bow, sword and shield are unmatched as far as anyone knew, and her throwing arm is trained to perfection. She is a woman of very variable behaviour, ranging from warm and caring to cold and objective, but always brave and stalwart. She has always had the role of protecting her little brother from the harsh reality of Midgard since her father died in battle.
Reasons for leaving/arriving: Freydis has left her home village after fending off a band of brigands for travelling the land. Her foremost reason for this was to gather information of the world around her, since the village she lived in was annoyingly backwards and shut-in from the rest of the world. At present, she is on a road on her way to the village of Eunfurth.
Inventory: High-quality brigandine armour (leather and chain mail) and skirt crafted by her, adorned with the emblem of her family, ornate tempered (silver polished) steel sword and small, round wooden shield (a single long spike in the centre of it), reinforced with metal and passed down from her mother with the emblem of her family, high-quality ash self bow with horn details, quiver of 50 steel-tipped arrows, three throwing axes, 4 throwing knives looted from some bandits on her way to Eunfurth, 93 gold pieces, some also looted from the previous bandit gang, three potions to heal wounds, one to restore stamina/speed and one to restore magic reserves, a scroll to unlock secure locks given to her by her aunt.
Deity: Idun, keeper of apples and granter of eternal youthfulness. Helped Freydis save the remains of her family by healing her wounds and invigorating her after a savage and bloody battle.

Character background/history: Ilyana was taken from her parents at birth and never got to see them. She grew up thinking she was an orphan, but was allowed refuge by a monastery of nuns. In her childhood years, she learned to read very early as she listened keenly to the stories mother Carcino told her and the other orphans at bedtime. The stories of adventure, magic and romance continued to captivate her all the way into her adolescent years, when she begun attending the school in the town, famed for its stern discipline and high standards, but also high quality education.
She was never entirely accepted by the other children in her school years, however. No one was ever able to put a finger on it, but she seemed different. It did not bother her too much, however, as she preferred to stay secluded in her studies. The only social activity she really participated in was the acrobatics and athletics classes, something she dominated. She was convinced a strong body was pivotal to her plans of getting out and exploring the world one day.
It so happened that on her 19th birthday the monastery was raided and burnt to the ground in an attack on the small town in which she had lived all her life. She was able to escape the raid under mysterious circumstances, and is now thrust into the harsh reality of the desert outside of her town.
Goals: Presently: survive. She dreams of learning about magic, seeing as much of the world as possible, and finding true love.

Intro: Entering the room from the sound of a flushing toilet is an African-American woman. She is a bit startled by the situation she finds herself in, but comfort seems to be in here eyes also. She looks to be in her late 20's, stands rather tall, has short, black hair and is wearing a kevlar vest under her police uniform, looking truly sturdy and fit. She's holstering her Glock 20 as she passes the door.
"Hello people, I'm Officer Rayne Kendall. I'm glad to see more have joined our temporary sanctuary here."
She steps into the room, stands next to Thompson and speaks with reassurance.
"As some of you may have noticed, the things out there are capable of learning. This is no reason for panic, however. They remain primitive beasts, and we defeated countless of that kind even back in the Stone Age. We will survive as long as we keep the pace up. Movement and adaptability is our greatest asset. We have sanitary systems here, as well as some "food", but don't get used to it, as I think we should move shortly."
She takes a pause and surveys for reactions.
"We have increased in numbers exponentially, so a logical move would be the old supermarket two blocks south-west of here for supplies. Expect casualties and we might avoid them."

right arm, leather belt with silver buckle and leather holster fastened to the thigh with straps. Dark purple lipstick and
eyebrows. Five ring piercings on the right ear, three on the left. Band-aid on her right cheek. Pin piercing on her left
nostril, ring piercing in her left eyebrow.
Past and world: Rose was a rebel leader in her mortal life. She led a large band of rebels against the king of a very
idealistic republican monarchy. It was not a violent nation, however. It simply considered itself to be superior in its
beliefs, and tried every day to convince the people in the land to follow their creed. The system of government had emerged
after hundreds of years of anarchy in the barren land, and while most people welcomed it, about 22% of the population did
not. These went to form different factions, determined to lead their life their own way.
But it was not a way of life that could be upheld. The people of the monarchy used up most of the resources in the land,
and life expectancy dropped extremely low in the tribes. Rose, the leader of the largest tribe, managed after years of
political crusading, unite the tribes under one banner. When she did, she also found out about a substantial number of
people going missing. Thousands. Rumours of human experiments conducted by the research department of the monarchy began
spreading, and Rose eventually had to find out for herself.
Powers: Rose suffers from a terminal illness that condense her muscles to extreme levels, rendering the fibres inhumanly
tough. She can spend enormous amounts of energy into her bodily functions, but has to refuel just like anyone else. There
is no one who knows when it will lead to her death, but her metabolism is too fast for her organs to handle for too long.
This knowledge has rendered her reckless beyond comprehension, and there is no extreme sport she has not done to death.
She lives one day at a time, and is pretty content with her life. She has a lead pipe and a .223 handgun, actually a
modified, cut down rifle. Makes a lot of sound.
That is not all there is to her, however.

Age: Over 2000 years.

Past and world: Lamia is a female demon who has acted as the vessel for receiving all the pain inflicted upon women
throughout history. She has resided in hell as a concept for as long as there has been suffering, her corporeal being
eventually taking form, but has now possessed Rose and escaped the prisons of hell.
Powers: Lamia's upper body has fused with a hellish metal that has grown to cover her rough serpent skin. It is part of her,
and reinforces her movements, making them stable and precise, and it can withstand any known substance. The rest of her
scale-covered body is extremely hardy, having been steeped in the fires of hell for several millennia. Her spear is from
the same metal, forged in hell.
Her main power are the illusions she can induce on others, however. They are created by the pain she harbours inside, their
form differing depending on their victim, and they do intense mental damage by tricking their brain into doing... unhealthy
things. She can also induce more simple illusions, robbing her victim of their senses.
Important note: Lamia can take over at any time, but Rose will be able to resist it at most times while on Earth, and at
all times while in Heaven. In Heaven, her powers will also be enhanced and have less negative effects, while Lamia is
stronger in Hell and more likely to take over, depending on the demonic powers at work. She will speak through Rose at
times, but normally only implant ideas or words into her mind.

have a inner layer of white and a outer layer of burgundy fabric. She wears thigh-high leather boots and metal greaves,
black tights, plate armour and light gauntlets with arm guards. All of her armour is white with gold trimming and detail.
Background: Marisa was born to mercenary parents, but as there was no room for parenting in their business, she was
given away to a monastery of Avandra at the age of two. She was adequately raised however, by the Clerics and Paladins
serving there. She was always obedient and willing to serve the flowing tides of change that dominate the world, doing her
own bit in pushing them in a desirable direction. On her 21st year of earthly existence, she caught rumours of someone who
was supposed to be her brother circulating in the area. Having completed her training as a full-fledged Paladin, Marisa left
the monastery with resolve of finding this clue to her true roots. She is still searching fruitlessly, and has adapted
excellently to the large amounts of violence the world offers.
Traits, quirks, mannerisms: Marisa is a relaxed woman, albeit perhaps a bit grim. She is usually pretty open-minded,
and very adaptable. When it comes to protecting others, however, she can be commanding and assertive. She most often takes
to pragmatic ways of thinking, and can be very protective of her friends. In combat, some would call her reckless, and some
would call her fierce, and she takes setbacks with the good, reasoning every experience is a lesson. She is a calm person
in essence, though she can get very passionate when it comes to the well-being of others. She hasn't the best of manners,
