Hmm... Gordan freeman maby, he's strong enough to single handedly take on an army that overwelmed all of earths combined military in 7 hours. That or Alex Mercer. But then again, Duke Nukem wouldn't be bad eigther. Or Chell if she can place a portal outside of my nightmare

I have some disturbing nightmares but I'd probably take Batman. I know he's from a comic too but he's awesome. Gordon Freeman, Kratos, and other awesome characters would help but Batman is the goddamn Batman.

I would take taki from soul calibur, any of the dead or alive chicks, tifa, "pattern?", nina from tekken, lara croft.
im going with saren from mass effect, just because im pretty sure he can fuck up anything that isn't commander shepard, and shepard would be shit to take, because i'd have to decide what s/he would be doing.

Although it would depend upon the nightmare, as a generic response though, Riou from Suikoden 2. He'll keep hs mouth shut and get the job done, with style.

Hmmm...my worst nightmare was some woman who somehow tapped into a more animal side of her persona and actually ate the flesh of another human being to totally allow that animal side to take over...
Seriously...it scared me to death and now that I look back on it...it was the most awesome bit of ACTUAL horror I've seen. I wish I had taken notes to give to Hollywood.
So...one character? Okay...not sure, but I suppose Dante would fit the bill in this case since it could have been akin to a demon takeover. Although...for some reason I'm picturing Dante actually trying to HIT on this woman...

Caim also works, considering he's basically the videogame equivalent of guts only with even LESS morality and a tendancy to communicate by stabbing it, as well as solving all his problems like that. Plus...he's kind of got this tendancy to kick people who are in his party...nitat said:

Samus most likely. She's virtually invulnerable while in her screw attack. But my worst nightmare involves having a stroke, so maybe I'd choose someone with unrivaled healing powers?
I don't think there are many characters more dependable than Master Chief. If he's given an objective, that shit gets done. Plus, he actually cares about civilians.
