Although beer isn't my favourite, my top 3 beers are:
- miller
- bud's
- amstel

I do like corona but after pimppeters explanation...I'll pass on that one for a while.

Not sure probably in no particular order:

Carlton Draught
Tooheys Platinum
Hahn Super Dry

Though I am quite partial to Heineken and Carlsberg. I also swore a Guiness oath on St Patrick's day that wherever it is on tap I must drink it in preference to other beer (not a huge problem, as most places don't have it on tap).

2 Dahls. (Local beer)
Nidaros representin'! The classic brown bottled Dahls might just be Norway's best beer, except for the Nordlands Pils.

My list:

1. Pilsner Urquell: The original pilsner and one of the best beers out there, almost has an ale-like quality to it.
2. Erdinger Dunkel: Erdinger makes a great beer, but the dunkel may just be the tastiest wheatbeer out there.
3. Stone Imperial Russian Stout: Russian Stout is the best stout, and the Stone Brewing Company redeem American beer all by their lonesome. Their Double Bastard Ale is amazing as well.

Oh, and for the record, Corona is a spoiled pilsner. You can't store your beer on see-through glasses, it ruins the shit out of the taste. Silly Spaniards. It's only passable when you drink it with sweet fruit or sugarglazed BBQ.

And like everyone else in the thread is saying, Amstel, Bud and Heineken are pretty much water with alcohol in it. It may be drinkable, but it's not good beer.

edit: God damnit, I should start hitting f5 before I make new posts. Apologies for the double trouble.

I don't really care what I drink - I can't hold a lot in me anyway - but I really, really liked Erdinger Dunkel.

It's sad, because I haven't seen many places here that have it.

1. Hobgoblin
2. Guinness
3. Bishops' Finger

There was also a beer I tried in Germany. Very nice, but I can't remember for the life of me what it was called, let alone try to pronounce it.

Hehe indeed my friend, Dahls would be nr1 for me, if it was'nt for the delicious ice cold san miguel tapped in glasses stuck in a freezer you can get at some places! Gotta love the iced foam!
And damn, I have to agree with Erdinger, i love both the light and dark ones equally much!

I'd rather have something non-beer like, but if the need strikes me, or when I'm low on cash and still want to get sloshed:

1. Desperado
2. Hertog jan
3. amstel

Though the Amstel is not a matter of taste, is a matter of it being so horrendous that I can drink an entire glass in one go. It's more of a to go to beer to get wasted.
