1) Hellgate: London
2) Star Wars: Galaxies
3) Dungeons and Dragons online (just registered)

WoW was also nice...

....but all the games have something in common, they tend to bore me after a while.

1) Lineage 2 (up to Chronicle 3, it actually went down hill the more it updated)
2) World of Warcraft (because face it, it did most things right)
3) Lord of the Rings Online (haven't played it but it was responsible for making Turbine beat Valve for developer of the year, it's got to be good!)

EVE Online is the only one I've ever played and actually liked, despite the fact it is actually coma-inducingly boring when you think about it.

Everquest
WoW
Ultima Online was lots of fun but I was too young to really know what I was doing in that time.

1) Lord of the Rings Online
2) Dungeons and Dragons Online
3) WoW (distant third, would only go back if game makers keep releasing junk and the above 2 shut down completely. Though SW:TOR looks like it might have some potential)

The one I have most enjoyed was LotRO.

I only played it for a month, a very solid month, and watched the extended Lord of the Rings films about twice in that time. Had a proper lord of the Rings period of life, and it was awesome.

But my friends played WoW again so I went back to that reluctantly, maybe being a Worgan will make it more interesting.

You know what? WoW is actually great. It's got a lot of depth because of the lore, and even though the classes feel samey at first, you can pretty much put one together however you want. There is a huge map, tons to do, lots of nice people(and not-so-nice people) to talk to, raids to do, instances, tons of quests...

It's just all-around a really great game, and I honestly don't know why people bag on it so much.

So!

1)Even split between WoW/EVE. WoW is a ton of fun, but EVE is complex enough to keep my attention and entertain me.
2) Guild Wars. It stops being fun after a good 100 hours or so, but that's more than worth it for the twenty dollars I paid for the original campaign. Apparently the expansion campaigns are fantastic too. Also, no subscription fee is nice.
3)Uh...Jeez, I don't even know. I've played too many of these to decide.

Tip, though: Try every MMO you can find, because you'll eventually find one that's just perfect for you.
