I'd say me on the Intertron is what I'd say is closest to the real me. In real life, I'm very shy and generally don't talk much for fear of, and this'll sound pathetic, people knowing me too well. People knowing things about me has only ever lead to me feeling like shit, so I feel much more comfortable on the internet where I can't really see the person I talk too. It's a dangerous attitude, but I only really have two sites I post on reglarly, I have this site for my slightly more serious side, and GamesRadar for my silliness. Not to say I don't outlet plenty of silliness here.

I may sound a little bit more intelligent on here than I actually am. I'm always nice to strangers online and in real life, if I think they deserve it.

The way I would say the sentence above in real life is;
"A may sound a lil murr intelligent on 'ere than I act'lly am. M'always nice t' strangers onlahne n' in real larff."

You can't sound intelligent when you talk like that.
Aren't you from Cambridgeshire? I love being from the home counties because we get posh accents for no real reason.

I'm basically the same on here, maybe got a slightly slower temper but that's it.
Nope, Yorkshire. You don't know if you have an accent yourself but everyone around me does, so I guess I do too :p

I'm generally more open on the Internet. Less quick to crack jokes too, that's probably a good thing.

When I read the title... I thought you meant 'you' at its purest sense. In real life, I talk exactly the same as I write here... But my true self, that very few people see, I tend to act instinctively, almost like a dog. It involves dog like head movements and expressions, rubbing up to people and rubbing my nose on them and such... yeeeaahhh...

I'm not completely the same on the internet. For reasoning see the Greater Internet Dickwad Theory.

All in all, I'd say I'm not that much different. I got bored with trolling when I hit puberty, but some times, the asshole in me emerges. Often when a topic is so immensily self-gratifying of stuck-up.

I can't stand those topics.

I'm shy so I don't speak up much, so I just listen to others and talk on certain subject they bring up. I'm also "to nice" I trust people to easily.

I'm an insecure smartass that uses humour as a shield, and seeing as i'v used it so much, i've actually gotten quite funny, though at times i worry that i'm just acting out emotions and worry that the apathy that i built up as a kid to protect myself has backfired and i've become some souless heartless bastard, but hey, we do what we have to to survive.

I really don't know who I am yet, still being young.

Sometimes I naturally act like a complete asshole, other times a kind-hearted soul, sometimes just ignorant to the world around me, other times just kind of observing everything and staying out of the fray.

I just want to figure out who I am. That's all.
Same for the most part. Although I am at least consistant online.

Yeah I'm pretty much the same, maybe a little bolder here due to the whole anonymity thing. Point is, I'm often an arsehole here and I'm often an arsehole IRL to people who deserve it. I am equally bitter however.

I don't see the need to lie about anything I said here on this forum. Speculate about things I would or wouldn't do on a given hypothetical situation, yes. But the answer given will always come from the spectrum of my own being.

I'm a lot the same here i guess, even stupidly shy even though I'm on the internet.
Can't say i don't try to impress or get myself noticed though.
Even though I've only just started commenting, really.

In principle i try to avoid playing different "roles" when I meet different people. I fail, but being one person is the ideal me^^ My main reason for failing would be girls >.< Damn those creatures, doomed to make men try to be a little bit funnier/cooler/tougher. I go from being a sturdy cliff on which people rely, to a wobling tower of jello.

Actually, it's more real life that I'll continue to switch personalities.

On here, I've switched once. I was originally a very angry, angsty person. Then, I switched because I got out of the phase in real life. I don't think anyone remembers that point though.

In real life, I switch all the time, just to keep other people wary of me. It's really fun, and lets me believe that I'm a good actor, despite me not knowing if I am or not.

I wouldn't do that with people I care about though.

There is no true me, just lots of me's.

Do I get my Persona now, or do I HAVE to fight the Shadow first?

Quite similar on the escapist as I am in Real Life, there are some differences, but not many, and yes, I ma this mad in RL. Possibly worse.

Mostly unremarkable and easily frustrated. I have a unique taste in games that leave many people scratching their heads. These things remain constant in real life and on forums. As long as I keep posting, I make an impact on threads, however small it might be.

Asturiel, once again you say exactly what I was thinking.

But what makes one me the true me? What if they're all the true me?
It's what I do.
