Monster Hunter: Freedom.
For me at least. I haven't actually passed the Cat-quests past level three of them, and they are tough as hell. You have to battle three giant rock-monsters that are almost impervious to all forms of damage at the same bloody time. They also have this fire-blast thing that instakills me, because I haven't got fire-resistant armour. But to get this, I have to defeat at least then other giant fire monsters.
I tried to go through it once, but I didn't have the endurance to keep that up.

That game is ridiculously hard, even with the snaking method! I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE HOW HARD IT IS!! Seriously, just try to beat Black Shadow on Chapter 7 on Very Hard.
You can't do it, you shouldn't do it, you won't do it.
So just don't even try.
RESONANCE OF FATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, got about 9 hours in (not an easy nine hours when the first battle took me about 40 mins and 6 retries) when i reached a part that was basically gang rape, no way i can do it besides restarting and preping....i just dont have it in me but i realllllly wantto keep playing.

I can't beat this one level were the wheel spins around and around and you have to grab onto the fabric then drop off out the other end.
It's frustrated me for so long but no matter how hard I try little sackboy just keeps dying.

Why? Game glitched up, I cannot, literally, beat the game as one of the team will endlessly hack a console
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Okay now I haven't claimed defeat yet but the final dracula fight keeps kicking my ass. I just can't beat him. Just not enough health.
Star Trek: Galaxies: One it's a really slow game and two I found killing anything to be a challenge.
Prince of Persia (no subtitle): Got to the Warrior and game refuses to let me beat the quicktime event

Two More: The 40k game for the DS. Omg the world eaters outnumber me 8 to one. And they get a damn tank!

Can't even remember the last time I actually quit a game because it was too hard.
I really only quit for two reasons:
1) The game bored me. It's just plain bad.
2) The game is buggy and/or horrendesly designed, and I usually quit the game about the 5th time I bug through a wall or get shot in the end by AI enemies through a wall who should have no idea where I was (looking at you, Sniper: Ghost Warrior).

I know you can't really "Beat" it, but if the arcade mode's on any higher than Very Easy, the Rival fight blocks, counters grabs and generally crumples my ass into origami.
I've had it less than a week, but still. It's some tough shiz.

Best thing to do is to find a friend with the game, do some missions together in the Gathering hall so you can gain materials so its easier to beat missions and build new gear.SamuelT said:
