Your very first console

The Sega Mega Drive. Puggsy was my first game. It taught me RACCOONS ARE HARDCORE!

For nostalgia's sake, which was your very first console and which was the very first game you played on it.

Mine was 'gasp' nintendo entertainment system and surprisingly enough i played duck hunt instead of mario. I guess the light gun was a real novelty for me.

The first system I truly got into was the N64 and PS1. Best game generation IMO.

Gamecube, with Super Smash Bros. Melee. Bought SBBM because I thought it would be pokemon stadium with other characters. Yes, I was that casual.

It definitely wasn't the first console generation I experienced, but it was the first one that I experienced being kind of a hardcore gamer.

I caught up with all the good stuff from before that period though, so I think I'm excused.

The Atari 800 was the first one i've played, but the one that got me into gaming was my N64 which I still own.

Mine was the old Pong game that only had pong and the paddles. From there I went to an Atari 2600.

The first console that was actually mine was a snes. The first game I had was some racing game that I can't remember the name of...Top something it was called maybe? You had a choice of different color cars and each car had different stats (speed, aceleration, fuel consumption, handling) and you raced in different countries and stuff. =p That was the first game and console that was actually mine.

Sony Playstation, which I got when I was about... four? I can't remember that well. I wanted a Nintendo 64, but my parents didn't care, and just got whatever one was available. Also, at the time, I referred to video game consoles as "video game VCRs", mainly because the cartridges for my grandmother's (yes, my grandmother's, don't ask) Nintendo 64 (which is now mine :3) looked like video cassette tapes to me. I also wanted to borrow one of my grandmother's Sega Dreamcast games to play on it, but my mother wouldn't let me. Heh, good times, good times.
