Really, CoD? Alpha-numeric substitution?

Master codemakers, you are.
It's an easter egg, they wanted it to be found. It took this long for someone to find it with this simple of a code, if it were really complex I doubt it would be found.

Replacing numbers with respective letters? My god he's a fucking Sherlock Holmes!

He's too annoying to watch someone tell me what the code was.
It was basically
Reznov is dead. Or is he?

Interesting, but it's not exactly cracking the Enigma Machine. I think it would help if the guy in the video wasn't absurdly pretentious.
Agreed, I wanted to shoot him in the face...repeatedly.

Really? Of all things that would have secret codes in them, you wouldn't think of a Call of Duty game.
Then again, Treyarch managed to interwieve a clever if not confusing story into the biggest social mini-game ever.

Hmm, like the ending, setting you up for a sequel, but it does seem like a wierd way to put in a code.

Reminds me of all the codes hidden in the glyphs in AC2. I don't just mean the obvious ones you have to solve, either - I mean the morse code, the binary, the hex...I spent hours pouring over the puzzles and found lots of neat things. Morse code is hard to copy down, so many lines and dots... @.@

Whoa this makes me wanna pay attention to little details in other games, levels and in the Zombie Maps.

If Reznov was playable on some DLC level of a new Zombie Map, but if anything Reznov was my favorite charcter in WaW and Blackops and any news with him still in the game is good to me. Hell.... for all we know there could of been plans to tie him in the MW franchise... >.> Somehow

*thinking*

Come to think of it; I remember during a level of Call of Duty: MW 1 when the SAS first meets up with the Russians there was a soilder named (if I spelled it right...) Dimitri Pertranko

o.0

But im Off Topic now so don't mind that last part.

IDK but it does add for one heck of a story

GO TREYARCH!!!!!
They may do that. According to the intel, the team that is to eliminate Mason will be lead by an up and coming SAS operative with the first name of Johnathan.
Jonathan Price? Well it is a very British name i suppose, could work.

OT: This is kinda cool, can't wait to see how this turns out.

They're a game developing company... Did you expect a whole matrix of numbers that when put together in just the right way, can create nifty messages to the experience code cracker? Oh wait...
I'll tell you what you really didn't expect...

I was about to bag this guy for being way too smart, but then I noticed the Inglourious Basterds poster, so he has my respect.

Wow, I really love these kind of easter eggs, although I have seen more intelligent ones. Reminds me o the Serious Sam stuff. Although I highly doubt this is the first guy EVER to do this. Maybe the first one to make a pretentious youtube video about it, but several weeks after it's release...someone has to have noticed earlier than that.
