I think the main joke is that Yahtzee was talking slowly and completly deadpan.

A better April fools might have been a positive review of an obviously bad game, like a movie tie in. However doubt Yahtzee was willing to go that low for a bad joke.

Seconded, that would of been greatly better. Twice so if he 'clearly sold out' during it, praising the company and all the crap in a way that is clear he is being paid to do so. To the point the companies logo was plastered everywhere?

Ok here is the joke that all you are missing. Yahtzee also wrote a book when he wasn't playing a game or fapping or sleeping or sucking off the lead programmers of Valve( of which who told me he does a damn good job) Which is about 30 minutes a day which also means most of the book was written on the shitter(with only 30 minutes left you have to stretch it). Now being that his book was conceived and written around total crap I might see how it could suck. But not that bad It was him doing a reading of his book. And the joke was that it some gay ass novel taken straight from a Final Fantasy cut scene. But knowing Yahtzee (and i do from masterbating to all his abusive videos) It would more likely about something he enjoys. And from his saints row 2 Video that would most likely be Jumping on, running into, beating up old ladies naked. So the joke is his real book would not read "Such dark melancholy. Within the his heart and beneath all his rage, lies the soul of a poet" but "As i fell from the plain naked I fapped at the site of an old women who i quickly fall open and killed" So there you go, Your all retarded and your mothers never loved you.
