Well the key to this one was to make a game better than the repetition that was the first game. So they nailed it although it would be quite hard to screw up, all they had to do was not make you do the same 3 missions over and over again. They do have side missions for money but one upgraded villa later you never even look at your money you just buy things. Personally I was done upgrading before I even finished the leather armor because I focused on the villa.
However I will happily sit out assassins creed w/e number it is when they focus on the story out of the animus for I hate Desmond.
For a second there I thought Yahtzee pulled that idiot from Unskippable into the video again when I realized that it could very well have been a bad case of the cold or something else.
Looking forward to getting this under my Christmas tree.
Why is everyone commenting on the voice? I think mods just need to take out comment adding to Zero Punctuation because no one add's anything, "that was a nice review" "not as funny as this one" fucking stupid.
OT: I really liked this game, I ignored most the side missions, climbed every tower, got the badass armor a little less than half way through the game and the glyphs were really fun/Challenging, I'm suprised you didn't say anything about those. However for the last boss...
I got to head butt the fucking Pope, THE FUCKING POPE, that in my oppinion is aweome.
I'm also suprised you didn't mention the giant religious spin in the last 5 minutes, that was one of my main complaints.

But thats the main story, and in the secound one they did pretty good on it I think, they went more in depth with it and it wasn't like "hey this storyline is still here too." Although I did think Ezio's story was more interesting and they didn't intervene too much with the present time I think they could build off of it pretty well, as long as they don't screw it up.
At first I thought it wasn't even him. Like that time when the Unskippable guy did a guest ZP review.
Anyway, interesting review. I'm actually anxious to play that one (waiting for the PC version, stupid delays!), I thought AC1 was a brilliant game in theory, just not all that well executed.
Well you guys all like to complain don't you. Your all making a big deal out of nothing, come on guys seriously. Who actually cares about about the voice, its only a tad deeper.
It was a great review, the best I have seen from him in a while. But nothing can top his earlier work.
Even after maxing out the casa, having money (for me) is nice; because of my OCD I feel the need to dye the Assassin's robes a different color every hour. I don't know...
Woot, I'm glad I'm not the only one a bit irked about the utterly disapointing final boss fight wherein you beat down the Rennaissance ancestor of Drew Carry and Charles Manson.
Another terrific point he made was Da Vinci's flying machine. Basically half the fucking hype revolved around being able to use it and you do that once.
Da Vinci could have made you a jetpack variant or something to use in other areas after jumping off towers, maybe using chimneys as heat sources rather than bonfires.
Meh, it's still a good game and one of Yahtzee's better reviews.
P.S. Why the fuck does everyone care so much that he sounds a bit different in this? It's still funny and it's still obviously him.
