Blimey, Yahtzee has jumped the shark. I used to watch all of his movie two or three times and laugh throughout, but this one wasn't even chuckle-worthy. I think Wolfenstein was the last proper "funny" review, it was downhill from there.
In other news PC games are dying.

Yahtzee, I gota tell ya, I made this account JUST for the sake of asking you to please revert back to the normal mic. It's simply a lot better....

My guess is that it was someone else doing the first half.

Some kind of reference to Ezio and Desmond perhaps...

No really, I am totally questioning the credibility that the voice on this video was indeed Ben Croshaw.

I like the new mic, although sounds abit like theres too much foam cover on it. Still not gonna complain, felt like I discovered a really old ZP.

Well the chinese had been slowly floating gunpowder through the silk road for awhile at the 1500 year mark, so It's possible there might have been like a flint lock or something, if you , nevermind too much reasoning I that Ubi should have done.

Huh, his voice sounded a bit weird. Off that note though, the criticism in this review pretty much showed that what IS bad in the game is so arbitrarily small that it shouldn't hurt the overall experience. I loved the first game, and I'm excited to get this one for the upcoming holiday.

His voice does seem different...

Anyway, I think he pretty much summmed up my feelings.

Though, to be fair, did he expect the boss fight to be something out of Shadow Of The Colossus?

Oh, another thing, THERE WERE GUNS IN THE RENAISSANCE! Christ, that was one of the big military achievements in that time. If my history is correct, I'm pretty sure gun powder was invented in the 1300s. And seriously, from what everyone has told me, the gun is hard to aim, so it's not THAT much of an advantage.

funny, I didn't notice anything different with Yahtzee's voice.

anyway, the gameplay on this game impressed me, seemingly everyone on Escapist seems to like it, even Yahtzee says this game is good.

Ezio, consider me sold on Assassin's Creed 2.

Whatever the shortcomings of AC2 may prove to be, I will remember it fondly for making me fall over laughing at the 'It's a-me, Mario!' bit.

I like the voice Yahtzee is using as it is somewhat reminiscent of the voice he used in his older reviews. About Assassin's Creed II, he was right on the money.

Is is just me, or has Yahtzee's voice changed a lot?

I thought it was a joke until I saw past the credits.

Yeah, for the first couple hundred years after guns were invented, they had an accurate range of about 100 yards (compared to the 180 and 320 offered by longbows and crossbows respectively), took about two minutes to reload, and had the rather obnoxious habit of sometimes exploding and killing the person firing it.

The man has a cold. Check back to the Heavenly Sword(s) video for proof.
Well if that's the case he also had a cold when he reviewed The Darkness, Fable 1, Psychonauts, BioShock, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Manhunt, Peggle, Halo 3...etc.

After quickly his voice in this review to his last one I am 99% sure he got better equipment, his voice is crisper and louder, that is all. Otherwise it's the same old Yahtzee.
