lol I just got Halo Wars, and seriously no joke I too ran out of time on that same mission
only I didn't quit (feeling rather amused hearing "We lost contact!!!"), and ironically instead I took the tip from Yahtzee and built twice as many tanks the second try and well...success =)

no really, on normal difficulty, I found that every time I had a problem it was because of one thing: I didn't build enough tanks
ergo the key to success: BUILD MORE TANKS

Wow 700 comments. I doubt anyone important will see this and I'm sure someone has already said something along these lines but I just had to comment on this. I'm a HUGE rts fan. I started back in the days of C&C when this type of game as a whole was still a relatively new idea and I can honestly say that escort missions need to die. Back then it was sort of par for the coarse but why do we still see this in rts games anymore? Escort easily killed non-important unit X from point A to point B and Y amount of time or you just loose? What a stupid idea. I mean, at least back in the days of C&C when you could instantly fry an entire legion of infantry with one flame blast, they'd at least give you an apc to put the guy in. These days you usually just have one or two guys on foot just legging for no other reason than because they're afraid to ride in a jeep. Can we at least get an escort mission where the guy is in a tank or something? At least then the dopey bastard won't get randomly picked off by some hidden stealth/sniper unit despite being walled in by tanks and other infantry.

Yahtzee always seems to nail the exact same thoughts I have when I'm angry at a game but where I fail to put my frustration in words, Yahtzee can do just that! Yahtzee is awesome!

What is the episode where he says: "It would make even the most humorless man in the world shit his pants with guffaws"

Hehehe, the last part about that mission with the time limit was great. I couldn't agree more, I had to do that mission three times.

Hell... mind if I have a go? ...actually, I better not; my voice sounds awful on a headset Mic :p

(warning: this post contains use of foreign language, and discussion of cultural differences like accents. if this challenges you in any way get off the internet you silly bat!) thank you :)

i love when yatzee's super-ego tries to censor out the voice of his id example:
what Arbitrary SILLINESS

i remember when i first watched this, i hadn't really seen much unskipable so i didn't have a chuffing clue what was going on. i do like how graham tried to mimic yahtzee's style but just didn't quite have that same "je ne sais quoi" and the whole time his accent was skipping through the uncanny valley of north american dialects, right next to the glorious mountain of the UK.

Supreme commander has controls that work on the 360, you can actually select different units like say your aircraft without having to be clicking them, also the economy is more complex than build something yeah supplies!

You can "select different units like say your aircraft without having to be clicking them" in Halo Wars .

In fact I think Halo Wars streamlines the controls very well. The only thing that I really missed from pc controls was being able to click on the minimap to move around the map quickly.

I loved all 3 reviews here. As a fan of Unskippable, seeing Grahem take a jab at a ZP review was interesting. Doesn't have the same bile at Ben but good all the same. Ben, well, its his usual affair plus it's interesting to know what other genres outside JRPGs seem to truly irk him. Finally, the Imp. That, was simply just adorable. A quick funny segment just at the end. Worked well.

I'm pretty much in the same boat when it comes to RTS games. I lack patience for mico management. It all just seems to slow for me. Yet I will grind in Pokemon...perhaps I'm just another stupid human.

wel when you release a RTS for EggsBox this is what you get. You need mouse to play RTS. controllers wont work. Strategy is the only genre PC managed to keep from being ruined by tv addons.

been playing this game again recently...and yeah I'm having fun :]
(as fun as it was to watch this video again lol)

I really don't have the patience to play RTS games, and Ensemble (RIP) really did a great job creating a console RTS that was simple enough to keep the fun stuff in and the longer more tedious stuff out (not that StarCraft games can't be super quick or anything, I know)

Supreme Commander 2 wasn't bad either, but the missions in Halo Wars were more interesting and fun to play

Does the chinese words (6:52) _really_ say f*ck that? Just curious...
I've been trying to run it through the language websites I have, but Apple's trackpad handwriting doesn't seem to pick it up. I'm pretty sure my stroke order is correct, and it certainly doesn't break any of the conventions that I've learned so far, so I feel like it must be a character, I just don't know which one.

If a native Chinese speaker feels like dropping by this old-as-hell thread, 请你帮助我们. I really don't have the slightest clue.

The word is 龫, gan4, meaning "fuck". Just "fuck." So yes, it does.

This is my all time favorite episode of the series ever, and I've yet to see one I didn't at least somewhat greatly enjoy. It's not just because of the way it begins and ends, but also because of many valid and important reasons that I'm simply too lazy to come up with, let alone write down.
