IT HAS TIER LISTS

Yu-Gi-Oh! has tier lists too. That doesn't really indicate anything.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is still way better than pokemon actually. I don't know why it gets so much hate while pokemon doesn't.
Also, at least Yu-Gi-Oh! DOESN'T HAVE FUCKING LAND CARDS so I don't really see why MTG gets so much more respect than it either.
"I tap, Sin World! Now come forth, Sin Cyber End Dragon and Sin Rainbow Dragon, I shall destroy the past!"
I think everyone is either "UGH! Nintendo games SUCK!" or "Those games are meant for children! You must be a kid to like those games!" or they are just retarded.RedEyesBlackGamer said:The site is full of Pokemon fans. This week, Zero Punctuation dispels some notions on why Pokemon hasn't been reviewed before.

I honestly thank God by some miracle of man yaht'z dodged dynasty, romance, and all incarnation of the three kingdoms.
But back on topic ^^, who in the blue hell really plays pokamon (That goes here)? I mean a game review for it's fans are suppose to be for something they might honest to God pick up. Jesus man what's next are there any barbie games you care to cover next?
I really hope this "I'm going to review games for the under age crowd, because their as easy to play as they are to pick" on goes out of style and soon.
Get Black if you like rotation battles, Fire/Dragon end-game legendary, and a city where you battle trainers for $$$. Also for the 3-4 pokemon you can't get in White.Asuka Soryu said:Black and White are the same, other then some pokemon you can't catch in the other, the Legendary Pokemon you get when you face N and that Black has Black City, while White has White Forest.mattsipple4000 said:Soooooo i should buy Pokemon Black??

Get White if you like triple battles, Electric/Dragon end-game legendary, and a forest where you can catch pokemon you can't find anywhere else and fight trainers every day. Also for the 3-4 pokemon you can't get in Black.
They are very simliar, but not enough to be "ZOMG I NEED BOTH GAMES!!!!!"
One note I'd like here: Yes, there are many stratagies, however; only one is needed in campaign, and one for capture play. Those are embeded in meta lore as "all you need". and if you're not a multiplayer fan, that legacy holds up with the Level&super-effective; as the highest NPC has lv 75 and you can go to 100. However the many stratageis ARE needed in multiplayer, so I can't say either of you are "wrong".MonocleClaire said::/ This review kind of annoyed me and I honestly don't know why. I honestly don't care when games I like get ripped in to (I say, while looking up gold earning tips for Fable 2) but I honestly think that Yahtzee was just looking for excuses to dislike the game. Especially the part about the electric gym -- was he /seriously/ complaining about a *boss* battle not being super easy?
Also, what the fuck, one play style? There's about a million strategies you can use. You can hardly complain about strategy if all you're doing is /power levelling/. Also, we know you don't like turn-based combat. __This does not mean that there is something inherently wrong with the genre so please stop implying it.__
And seriously, how can you honestly say that the series hasn't budged an inch since POKEMON __FUCKING__ YELLOW? Are you shitting me?
Glad we both agree that N is a complete twat though. __Stop telling me you can talk to my Pokemon, you fucking freak__.
oh god this turned out being complete tl;dr sorry

Of course, for me I stand by my "evolve beyond stratagy", if only because I enjoy involuntary campaign challenges and am not one for multiplayer... (and that I like hack and slash)... so while I say it's probably good for gameplay if you like multiplayer stratagy, (or whatever it is I haven't thought of yet) I'm going to say that my personal preference in gameplay alone sides with yhatzee.
I still like the pokemon though, They're cute.
Really?! Three questions, One; are they cannon? Two; where can I find them? Three; you don't mean pokepark do you? I thought that one was a mini-game game like mario party...MonocleClaire said:There's already been a hack and slash Pokemon game (lots in fact) and it's not very popular.

Oh really? I was wondering how I was exp sharing a second pokemon and still keeping my first so much stronger than the rest. Are you referring to the exp share? Or is there some mystical item that I have never heard of in 12 years of pokemon?Desert Tiger said:They kinda changed it in this one. The EXP you receive is now based on your own level comparative with your opponent's. You could fight something level 50 and get 6000 exp with a level 40, or get 1200 with a level 60. Of course, it doesn't help that they give you an experience boosting item that was pretty much the rarest item in the game in the previous gens like halfway through the game...
No, he's talking about Lucky Egg, which boosts your exp gain by 1.5x.Liudeius said:Oh really?
