Apparently it's also available on PC, if you have Windows 10(too bad, MS. Not with as pushy as you're being about it), you can buy it through the games store....and apparently only through the games store, which still pretty much makes it an exclusive.

Though from what I've read, it seems like I could get more enjoyment and the same approximate experience by playing Singularity again while stopping every so often to watch an episode of Fringe.

It's not on PC. It's available through the windows shop as an Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app.
Basically an emulator and a crappy one at that...

You're kidding, right?
They are not really 20 minutes long. Nobody would believe that having 20 min. of doing nothing in a game is a good idea.
Unless you are making a Final Fantasy game.

It's not exclusive. You could have played the terrible half broken Windows 10 only UWP-strangled PC port.

Aaahh... Defiance... My mom loved that live-action [companion] series based around a video game that she kept asking me why the show's commercials kept on referencing it like it had true significance to her enjoyment of said series overall... Good times...

Other than that, on a unrelated related note, Happy Birthday, Hitler! I'm sure kush is legal in your area!

Now I want to ride an elephant seal. Preferably a continent one.

Glad I'm not the only one who thought of that. But to me, the game was the companion to the series, with the characters referring to in-game events from time-to-time.

Bullet time was still in Requiem: Avenging Angel before Max Payne...

Edit: It also came out on GOG a few days ago! I was happy as a clam when I found out.

Well, there goes my final reason to get an XONE. I was looking forward to it, but since watching some playthroughs on YouTube, everything just feels underwhelming. The visual effects are awesome, and props to the sound engineers, but the game could've been better had they dropped the live-action segments all together. That way the story could have worked out better, and campaign itself would have been a little longer. I highly doubt QB is getting a sequel.

Hideo Kojima agrees, 20 minutes is simply too short.

Am I the only one who can only see a 45 sec. long commercial for how great the escapist used to be?

Afraid not, some people don't mind that(Jim Sterling gave this game a pretty positive review) while others do. I didn't mind the long cutscenes in Metal Gear Solid 4 due to me finding the story really compelling, but I can totally understand others not liking that sort of thing. Didn't work as well in QB though since most of the characters shown in the live-action bits don't appear in the actual game until near the very end, and there's also some cool action scenes in the live-action bits which would've been so much cooler if I could actually play them(hell, even if it was just a QTE i'd take it).

It probably will get a sequel considering that it's the best selling original IP on the Xbox one so far:http://www.gamespot.com/articles/quantum-break-is-microsoft-studios-biggest-selling/1100-6438962/

Someone told me Yahtzee has cancer is that true? I hope not that would be bad
I think you got Yahtzee mixed up with Total Biscuit, as the latter is the one who has cancer.

I liked Defiance myself and I hope Yahtzee reviews it during a slow week(especially considering that it's still getting updates, there were new missions released just last month)
We will see. Hopefully for Remedy sake, the sales won't drop off too soon.

This game was like a huge non-event. It got quite a lot of critical praise somehow, but its like no one at all is talking about it. Not a single thread about this game when it came out.

As for my thoughts on the game, I hate this kind of third person shooter gameplay. No blindfire, soft cover mechanics, bullet spongey enemies. And as Yahtzee said, no bullet time? I'm not expecting "jump off the balcony, shoot some fools, land in the pool" kinda shit, just some basic slow down time and shoot. It's like the third person shooting was their last concern.
