but having to sit for 20 minutes watching live-action bits before the next chapter is a bit draining.
You're kidding, right?
They are not really 20 minutes long. Nobody would believe that having 20 min. of doing nothing in a game is a good idea.
Unless you are making a Final Fantasy game.
Afraid not, some people don't mind that(Jim Sterling gave this game a pretty positive review) while others do. I didn't mind the long cutscenes in Metal Gear Solid 4 due to me finding the story really compelling, but I can totally understand others not liking that sort of thing. Didn't work as well in QB though since most of the characters shown in the live-action bits don't appear in the actual game until near the very end, and there's also some cool action scenes in the live-action bits which would've been so much cooler if I could actually play them(hell, even if it was just a QTE i'd take it).

Well, there goes my final reason to get an XONE. I was looking forward to it, but since watching some playthroughs on YouTube, everything just feels underwhelming. The visual effects are awesome, and props to the sound engineers, but the game could've been better had they dropped the live-action segments all together. That way the story could have worked out better, and campaign itself would have been a little longer. I highly doubt QB is getting a sequel.
It probably will get a sequel considering that it's the best selling original IP on the Xbox one so far:http://www.gamespot.com/articles/quantum-break-is-microsoft-studios-biggest-selling/1100-6438962/

Someone told me Yahtzee has cancer is that true? I hope not that would be bad
I think you got Yahtzee mixed up with Total Biscuit, as the latter is the one who has cancer.
I liked Defiance myself and I hope Yahtzee reviews it during a slow week(especially considering that it's still getting updates, there were new missions released just last month)
