Anyone else getting a little disturbed by his jokes and attitude lately?

I get the bad feeling that poor ol' yahtzee's either running out of jokes or going through some emotional turmoil. Hell it may even be both.

Yikes, Freudian much? He's right, though. I mean, even MMO's are not unlike work, but at least then you're offered the pretense of human interaction...

I actually considered buying "Sims 3" but Yahtzee killed that desire outright.

I posted a tweet about Sims 3, with a link to the review, and the Sim 3 Twitter account RT'ed my tweet. I don't think they followed the link before they RT'ed me.

I guess Yahtzee is right, EA is the physical embodiment of all of humanity's sins.

To the people who were offended by the misoginy presented in the review, don't take it personal. He is compromised in offending everyone.

I think Yahtzee could use the services of the Relationship Problem Thread.

I really enjoyed this review only because my ex used to play the sims constantly and I could never figure out why.

i was hoping he'd review The Conduit. Oh, well. this should be good.
I KNOW RIGHT! I was hoping for the same thing. Yet I forgot games where he lives don't get released the same time we get it.

on topic- OMG I'm ROFLMFAO from this 'review' X'D I hope it never stops. Only until I'm 80 and I'm watching football and documentaries to relive the good ol' day in which ZP will be in!

Wow, such bitter cynicism in this review. Been there. On topic, I never got exactly what people see in the Sims games, I've played every game for approximately 1 hour before getting terminally bored.

Its syphilis, it explains the mental state and the hatred for women.

I've been feeling that as well. I want to feel concerned but I only hear the guy 5 minutes a week and having seen some of his reviews it's hard to really tell when Yahtzee is angrier than normal.

Here we go again.

Sims normal-boring-life.

Did we really need this?

Played Sims 1, when it was released, to see what all the fuss was about.
Quickly got bored, cheated, and bought all the best stuff. It was still boring!

I agree with Yahtzee. Can't see the appeal of the game... other than finding all possible ways of killing the inhabitants. Ditto about the "touch of a woman" thing, too

Is Yahtzee still getting over a cold? He seemed to talk slower and deeper in this review, as if trying to hide...something. It's still a good review, but the review sounded angrier then his voice did, so it didnt seem to match up in my book.

Also, to point out his own words, if he has a vagina and is not gay, then he likes...oh nevermind im just speculating :x

I take it you miss the self parody in the whole Machismo mockery that happens in any game with too much testosterone for logical thought? See Gears of War or any war game he reviews. Least women get to be evil, men are basically described as warrior wannabes, which I find to be a bit sadder...

arr, indeed.

Yahtzee's probably one of the few people I've seen on the internet that I'd actually like to meet, I feel like there is so much we could talk about but i can't help but worry that his obligation to play and review so many games may has taken a toll on his mind and reduced him into a wrinkly mass of dried up personality and spent bile (if that makes any sense).

Is it me, or does awareness of the underlying evil of the Sims 3 make it seem more interesting to play than it actually is?

I am glad to see the women bashing. In my quite humble opinion there isn't enough women bashing...ever.
I don't think women need bashing, men just need to think more. Myself included...

there I put my two cents in on that topic, and that's all i'm gonna say so don't quote me.
