Yes! So glad you tore WET a new one. I played the demo and I thought it was the stupidest pile of garbage I've ever had the misfortune of playing. God, what an asinine over stylized piece of crap. Dead on with all your criticisms. Who the hell wants to play an entire game flying through the air in bullet time?
Probably the worst game ever associated with Bethesda. They need to check themselves.

Also, seriously developers, stop with the motherfucking quick-time events. They are the worst convention to hit video games ever. I hate them. HATE!

Yahtzee was pretty much spot on regarding his complaint that all the slow motion jumping through the air firing two guns gets old quickly. It really does; just like it did in Stranglehold. A game like Wet is the kind that you can play and really enjoy and get into for the first couple of hours, because it's mindless and fun, but then get bored of way before you reach the end simply due to it becoming mindless and repetitive.

You are encouraged by the game to go for the score mulitiplier icons and rack up the best kill combo over areas that are essentially stunt courses (this game did vaguely remind me of a kind of Tony Hawkes with shooting replacing the scateboarding element). There are also pretty badly designed platforming bits; and indeed it is often very difficult to see where is safe to jump to, particularly when Rubi goes into red,black and white psychovision mode.

Bit of a disappointment really.

No Bloom (the graphics are usually dark)
No Schizophrenia (no horror from the flood this time around)
No "Pants on head retarded AI's" (you rarely encounter NPCs)

From the beginning, Wet looked like a pointless quilt job, with nothing fresh or exciting to offer. The demo confirmed my suspicions.

Anyway, another hilarious review. Kinda hate how Pillock's still working when unemployment is so high. XD
