Bob ran at the giant pumping shell after shell into when his gun was spent he dropped and unstrapped his scythe. He sliced through a power pole sending it toppling on top of the monster and knocking him over, Bob then leaped on the back of Garion's truck, "Get moving that's not going to stop him!"
"don`t need to tell me twice" mark said panicked he then jumped from the back of the pick-up Dave was in And ran towards the one garion was driving. "feel free to move whenever you want" mark yelled at garion, tapping at the cab whilst he stood in the back.
"Alright, Garion, I'm still coming!" Dave shouted, watching as Samii jumped out of the truck and started heading towards Garion's truck. Dave was about to get out when a shrill roar stopped him. Turning, he saw the mutant zombie pick up the telephone pole, easily tossing it aside. Turning it's massive head, it spotted Samii. Letting out another deafening roar, it charged her full speed.
"SAMII!" Dave screamed, slamming on the acceleration. The pick-up picked up speed quickly for a large vehicle, reaching nearly 50mph before crashing into the giant zombie. The truck hit its side, abrublty stopping both it and the truck.
Dave was thrown straight through the windshield, body flying till it smacked into a tree.
Dave's body slumped down, mind blackening out.
As Garion rushed towards the slumped body of Dave, he saw the various shards of glass sticking in him and several deep cuts.
But as he came closer, he saw something strange. The cuts...began to heal. Green goo green tendril-like skin grew around the cuts that would settle into normal looking skin. The shards of glass were pushed out violently, some shooting out like bullets. By the time Garion got to Dave, Dave's eyes were already fluttering open.
"Oh, hey Garion." he said, fatigue in his voice but keeping a smile on his face.
"Is Samii ok?" he asked, concern jumping out in his voice.
Dave gave a confused look. "Um, well, I stepped on the pedal, hit the zombie, then fell out."
He looked over himself, patting off the dirt. "Huh, guess I didn't go that fast. Must not of been going that fast." Dave looked at the smoking pile that was the truck.
"Must be a weak truck." Dave shrugged and ran towards Garion's truck.
"You coming?" he shouted at the still gawking man, as he noticed the giant zombie getting out of the truck-rubble.
Garion continued to stare at Dave. "O-Okay" Garion started walking towards the Truck not really paying attention. Garion's mind was running a mile a minute and didn't notice the huge Zombie swing at him until the last second. Garion jumped back as the Arm smashed into him sending him flying. shit Garion hit the ground hard and rolled. now is not the time to be thinking about Dave's condition. I should be focusing on the Zombie. Garion got to his feet and drew the sword. "Don't think this will help much but it is better then nothing." Garion saw Dave rushing towards the huge Zombie from behind. I will have to keep the Zombie's attention. Garion gripped the sword in both hands and rushed towards the Zombie.
CrapcrapcrapWhatAmIDoingcrapcrapCRAP!
Dave lunged at the Giant Zombie, covering its eyes while gripping its head. The beast lunged around, but it's massive arms and armor prevented from reaching Dave.
"AHHHH!"
Garion took advantage of the distraction and thrust his sword into the chest of the Zombie. CRACKKKK Garion stared as his sword broke on the Zombie's chest. "That can't be good." The Zombie kicked Garion and sent him flying again. Garion hit the ground hard shit, shit, shit, This is bad at least three ribs are broken. Garion got up and started for the Truck. "Dave I think it is time to runaway!" Garion was still holding the broken sword.
"No DUH!" Dave screamed, still trying to hold on to the flailing zombie. Dave tried to situate himself to jump off, but while loosening his grip the zombie swung his head forward, throwing Dave off.
Dave hit the ground rolling, and dashed towards the truck. Jumping straight into the bed, he landed next to Bear and Mark. "GOGOGOGOGOGO!" he screamed, flailing on the truck bed.
"Good lord! That was a rather dashing bout wasn't it gents?" The Bear exclaimed, his hands in the air, "I must apologize for my lack of help, I am rather famished at the moment my dear friends!"
"Oh, no problem. I have honey at my house, so you'll have your fill!" Dave said, now back to his cheerful self. He sat behind the window of the cab to direct Bob to his house.
"Don't worry, we're almost there" Dave said over his shoulder.
The truck sped out of the city and into the suburb, passing by little zombies. Many of the houses were surprisingly intact and well, though some were enveloped in flames. After a few more minutes of travel, the truck stopped at a pleasant little house near at the corner of an intersection.
"Here it is!" Dave excitedly cried, jumping out of the bed. Pulling out a massive ring of keys, he quickly picked one out and unlocked the door.
"Welcome, ladies, gents, and zombies alike. Welcome, to my abode!"
You basic house. Nothing is bordered up or anything, and their's no particular things around. Well, except for the locked basement door...
Garion climbed out of the truck grunting slightly. "Nice place." Garion said with a knowing smile on his face. why you live here I don't know Garion thought to himself.
