"Uh, sure Garion. You do you thing." Dave said, continuing up the stairs.
When the others had gone. King swung out to the middle, using his feet to hang on the side, laying about as though he were just a hammock.
"Hey, Gary boy. You missed me?" he said with a wide grin.
"But in all honesty, I'm not here for you. I'm more interested in this Boss character. So if you would kindly step aside..."
"I will step aside and go with you on one condition King, Until boss is dead We are allies, that means no attacking us or harming us. Also after the fight is over you leave us alone until we can get home and rest for a bit. Then we become Enemies again and me and you can fight to the death. GOT IT?"
"Phf, fine. I just don't want you distracting me. And so it won't seem we're getting buddy-buddy..."
King went towards a nearby elevator doors, tearing them open with a loud screech of metal.
"I'll just take the express up. Chow!"
King dove into the elevator shaft, and a loud scratching could be heard going upwards.
mark turned around and saw garion catching up to them. "hey garion what the hell were you doing down there anyway" mark asked as he looked at garion for a second before continuing up the stairs.
"The reinforcements moving in ahead of us. He doesn't like working with me since we are still trying to kill each other. We have a common enemy so we figured to stop trying to kill one another until Boss is dead."
"Ah, isn't it great when conflicts are forgotten for the betterment of ass-kicking kind?" Dave said, still making good time up the stairs.
"I can't believe we're already near the top. I was sure something else would happen by now- what's that noise?"
Dave had walked to the 75 story, and a door opened to a dark room. A soft singing could be heard from within.
"Um, hello? Is...anyone there?" Dave asked, but the words came out slowly. He felt as though he had had spent all day running, his body begging to sleep.
From the darkness, the body of a young, lean female came through. Though her body was well kept and generally normal, on her face was a huge stinger sticking out of her forehead. But all Dave could concentrate was on the mouth, which was singing a sweet little lullaby.
"Oh...shit." Dave murmered, before passing out.
To normal and Super Soldiers, it causes near instant sleep. Garion and t'e Zombies will not fall asleep, but they'll be very drowzy, unfocused, and confused. Unsure what happens to Bob.
Charlie stared at the woman, vaguely he noticed Dave fall and he heard three more thumps behind him. Have..to concentrate he thought, he turned to see Garion trying to pull out his gun but his hand kept missing the holster. The bear was just stumbling around.
Garion's mind felt like it weighted a ton. "Dammit Dave..... Do you have.....to look into every thing?" Finally Garion manged to pull his gun out but he could keep it in the air long enough to shoot.
Charlie tryed to walk over to Garion but couldn't quite focus..."Uhhh! Shut up!" He yelled at demon woman, but it didn't really help, in fact the song seemed to get louder.
The Siren simply watched with interest as Garion tried to get a sight on her. She simply ignroed him and went straight for Dave. Bending down low, she gently lifted him by his head. Still singing her song, she slowly lowered her large stinger, an odd slurping sound starting from it.
The bullet went right through the Siren's head, blood and pus splattering the other wall.
As soon as the song was stopped, Dave's eye's fluttered open.
"Is it nap time already?" he murmered.
