Well, seeing how the major selling points of the last two games had much emphasis on the mulitplayer, why the hell shouldnt we judge it by that?

Honestly, I don't see where you kids are getting single player is the only thing that matters.

OT: Lets hope for the best. I really hope they add a few twists into it, because Nazi Zombies in the first game gets old pretty quick.

When Treyarch has to advertise the return of a zombie minigame as a selling point for their latest release, it's a sign that they don't have much confidence in the core of the game itself.

I, for one, am worried about that.
They haven't even mentioned it yet. Did you not read the article, its assumptions and hints that we think may be in the trailer. There is still a chance that there is no zombies in it.

I don't know how I feel about tens of thousands of people buying a game exclusively for a tower-defense style minigame that really has no real lasting appeal.... I guess you can spend your money however you want.

I think there would be outrage if they included it only for Hardened Edition buyers in the upcoming game -ahem- BlOps.

Sounds awesome! ^^

I've never bought a CoD game before, since it always had a lack of appeal to me, I'd just hire it for a weekend and play 4 player splitscreen or nazi zombies.
Now this games has:
The most interesting time period to me
splitscreen multiplayer
ZOOOOOOOOMMMMBIIIEEEZZZZZZZ
splitscreen Spec-Ops/co-op

I think i'm buyin it ^^

I stand corrected, then, but still not relieved.

I did, no real point to it other than "Yay zombies in Nazi uniforms how fun", no point to it lost its appeal fats.

eeeeh.

MW2 still has a bad after taste in my mouth.

I won't be buying another COD game, and body odor wont be an exception.

I am now going to call it BlOps. I do not care if it sounds weird.

However, Im looking forward to this.
Yes and yes.

My only question is should I preorder this or Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood... decisions decisions...

Around round 40, yes...

OT: Meh, more of the thing that makes me come to CoD, not the inbalanced Multiplayer or the ridicolous story-modes ( not that's ever happened with Treyarch) but the fun, quirky extra modes..

What? "You kids?" You're 17. So am I. I don't remember "us kids" putting much emphasis at all on the importance of singleplayer.

"Oh, but the multiplayer is good." Yeah, I can get something incredibly similar from a game that also has a good singleplayer. Don't skimp out on it just because some want to play "shoot shoot, bang bang" and "call everyone the 'n' word" with each each other.

Not to say I hate all multiplayer. In fact, there are a few games that I'd even recommend based on some excellent multiplayer experiences. The singleplayer was also just as good. It's just that most of it, especially the latter CoD stuff, is tiresomely samey.

My bad on the "you kids" part. It slipped out and I despise people who say that, to tell you the truth.

But the thing is, people are not buying a CoD game for a single player (even though I still buy them for Single). Ignoring something that has much emphasis in the game is a bit redundant.

I am going to throw this out right now and say that the zombie maps in the hardened edition are probably going to be DLC in the future. Way to resell your product...

So MewTwo was an Escapist-exclusive nickname for MW2? no wonder my friends all looked at me funny whenever I used it.

OT: This is what I was waiting for, I decided from the beginning that if this game didn't have zombies I wouldn't buy it and now it does. I have to admit I'm a little skeptical over the fact that it was only announced for the collector's addition. I mean how do we know this isn't some evil plot to get people to buy the more expensive collector's addition?

Doesn't it just show how bad Call of Duty: WaW was when a really boring, generic zombie defence minigame which was quite bad, dull and glitchy for any zombie defence game became by far the most popular part.
