You haven't played Resident Evil 5. The real time inventory in that game was done like crap and was one of the more common complaints. Yeah zombies don't wait for people to get a different gun out in movies, but granted heroes don't stand in a locked position to get their gun out either. This game seems to rely on the real time inventory as a feature, which means you'll be using it A LOT. It's going to take away from the game just like it did for Resident Evil 5.
