Well I might as well add some cheap / cheaper recommendations
One of the best puzzle games I've played in a while, I'd also advise getting the Santa's Slay DLC which adds an extra set of levels (not that the game doesn't have a lot on it's own). All of the games sets of levels are sort of parodies of 80s slasher film.
A Rogue-lite detective game designed more for a playthrough to take no more than an hour but with plenty of other stuff to experiment with and find and unlock extra stuff.
Alone a Rogue-like survival game what actually has an ending if you can figure out how to call for rescue, it does a great job making your feel isolated and on edge with only simple pixel art
Aerannis a stealth action game set in a Cyberpunk dystopian future city where men are illegal and all the residents of the city of lesbians. You play Ceyda an assassin / fixer who gets dragged into a conspiracy theory that could shake the whole foundations of the city. This one goes places and goes places you likely really wouldn't expect it to go.
Detective Grimoire a beautifully animated point and click murder mystery game
Claire, a slightly imperfect game but also probably the closest indie thing you'll likely find to a Silent Hill game (other than Lone Survivour which kind of felt like it had maybe too many mechanics to focus on in my view)
