How can you possibly know this?
I looked

She is wrong. That's what's wrong

And now, heaps of people think their testicles will explode over taking the vaccine.

THAT WHAT'S WRONG

I can't believe I have to explain this to a real life human

But no, go on about all those mean people
Then maybe show her information that's she's wrong rather than try and yell at her to shut up and try to insult and shame her into line?
Make her want to say "Yes I was wrong the info I've seen shows that" rather than drive her to the people willing to engage with her which will be more Anti-Vaxxer types.

I can't believe I have to explain this to a real human given the amount of times even recently that it's failed to get the desired results but insulting and shaming people doesn't get the results people want and if anything can and will get the opposite result. Worse you don't convince people to change their views just to keep quieter and only talk with people they know won't go after them but keep on the same. Thus you not only don't know who is Anti-Vaxx so you don't know who to try and convince to get it and what fears to alleviate but those who are Anti-Vaxx are probably more likely to be less trusting towards you because you can't show evidence and just chose to shame and insult people.

Yes I think it's fucking dumb that people are anti-vaxx at present but none of that was helped by the bullshit "Oh the vaccine won't be safe because the Trump administration is making it"

Joe Biden on Wednesday rejected President Donald Trump’s charge that he is spreading fear about the safety of a potential coronavirus vaccine

I wonder why some people would say it's like China when on a dime the narrative shifted from "The Vaccine won't be safe Trump is rushing it" to "The vaccine is totally safe and anyone not getting it is a tool" just because of who was in office at the time.

One side played themselves very much here.

I don't blame people being skeptical when idiots were spreading claims about it being potentially unsafe on both sides one out of idiocy and the other out of politics

We don't even know if it was an STD that caused it, so yeh that's a so far baseless narrative being spread. They could have always been infertile and didn't know it. They could have ended up in contact with certain industrial chemicals that cause infertility. But no the narrative being spread is clearly they caught and STD.

You're right, it could be a wide variety of things, although the explanation was for "sudden ball swelling" and not infertility.

Of course, it ballooned up unexpectedly right before a wedding, so the most logical and funniest answer is that he was fucking around before hand and it caught up to him. You'd think gamers would be more attuned to crass jokes on the internet

Making fun of an obviously ridiculous take. Welcome to the internet.
Emotional knee jerk catharsis reactions over thinking things through. Really highlights the issue of not taking things seriously and treating everything like some silly hot take about films or something.

Crass joke sure but I dunno I'd have thought the people on about impact of certain things and the whole "It doesn't matter if it were a joke it's still perpetuating harmful stereotypes" would be a bit more careful about making claims of infidelity relating to a (presumably) black guy

Well it does function very similarly to Chinese Communist party struggle session or North Korean confession sessions.

Lots of people all yelling for you to confess or express just the views they want.

People weren't offering her information or trying to counter her points, they were yelling and trying to shame her into line.

Hilarious that your objection to us joking about a celebrity's brother's friend lying about his swollen balls to his fiance is that we aren't playing the race card.

The funniest part about this is that this random dude's weird lie to his fiance is getting fact checked by national governments. The internet is truly a bizzare place

I dunno just surprised at the ongoing lack of consistency seemingly where a shirt of a joke about dongles is a problem but the cheating guy isn't been seen as an issue or playing into some stereotype.

I mean for fucks sakes when it' the Whitehouse offering to have her talk to experts and being the more sane competent party in things I have to wonder what the hell is going wrong.
I’m saving this hilarious take forever. Cancel culture is when you make fun of someone for believing the vaccine will make your testicles explode.

yes the people objecting to the Chinese Communist comparison are likely knee jerking somewhat because it's a fairly ok comparison.
Because it is a thing happening in America that happens in America fucking constantly look out the goddamn window this shit is all America is and will ever be a bunch of idiots calling one another bigger idiots for believing mildly different takes on the same bullshit.

Edit: also you seem to have missed the point which I think was that people can’t both just be after personal catharsis of mocking someone and be trying to force them to change their opinions through shame (the latter of which definitely isn’t unique to Maoism).

Edit2: you are also yourself doing this knee jerk dunking through your empty comparison to China. You are engaging in the thing you’re mocking because you are mocking mocking, criticizing criticism. You can’t even say the issue is that they’re “doing it wrong” because it’s being done in a manner identical to your own.

But we don't know that it won't! It could be on a delay! The first case could happen tomorrow! We only have inductive arguments to the contrary! Science teeters upon the precipice of constant conjunction, but what if everything changes at some point in the future?
