In other news, David Jaffe's publicist was once again seen rushing to Jaffe's house with bolt cutters in hand, where upon they made a beeline for the hardline.

Also, maybe Sony would've called if you'd made any good games in the last decade and a half.
I almost keep forgetting this guy even exists. Aside from the Twisted Metal series and the first God of War, he has done nothing important or relevant since then. His last game was a complete and total bomb.

That video reminds me why I don't play COD MP. EVER.
I could never get into it, because it was boring. That and some of my college dorm neighbors from across the hall act like total douchebags when online. They were other good people online, but whenever it came to Halo 3 and COD 4, it would just be the most obnoxious jackasses during the game. It got to the point where I had to take the speaker/game mic from them and let the other players know that not all of us were assholes in that room. All the other players online gave me their respect, and everybody else in the room refused to give the mic back to me, but I didn't want it at that point. I left after about another 5 minutes or so it went to playing my GameCube.

He could've been dignified about it, but instead he chose to be a petulant ass. Either way, his time in the industry has passed, and arguably has so for quite a while.

Almost 50 min but an interesting discussion about GOW's plot and narrative structure. He likes the game a lot but makes a very reasonable case about it's flaws in the narrative structure.

That's nothing. This video is 3 hours.

He actually references and links to that video in his. I plan to check it out when I have 3ish hours in the near future.

It's easier to find time for 50 min then 3 hours. but also because I'm familiar with HFM while I don't think I've seen any of Andersons videos. HFM did do a 2.5 hour take on Cyberpunk 2077 and he had...a lot to say about it.

He also went on for 3 hours about the Avatar: The Last Airbender movie...and very little of it was positive. It was an interesting discussion about exactly what he felt was wrong with it and how it could have been improved.

I played this back in 2012 and never really touched it again after that. It was fun for a while, but once Killer Is Dead came out, the combat really start showing its age. I do like the characters in the game though. I traded in my copy back in like 2018. No regrets.

Admittedly he’s kinda gone off to a dev limbo land of sorts. Drawn to Death was mildly entertaining but easily forgettable as it’s basically a cool concept in a genre that’s been done to death itself.

The TM on PS3 however was pretty solid, at least IMO. Maybe not on a TM: Black level but it played really well when the netcode held up, and it had a decent enough story backing it up. It will be interesting to compare and contrast what they come up with next without him.

Having said all that, I get the impression the original GoW was Jaffe’s one hit wonder in a time when everything seemed to click.

I'll definitely be buying this Kirby game. The ones that been out since the Wii U and Switch have not been bad, but I'm just not interested in those. This is something a bit more different, which is why I'm looking forward to it.

So Bandai Namco changed it's logo.

I agree with the fans. It's not much to look at, innit? That hot pink color is kind of nice, but otherwise really boring design. Looks more like the logo for some messaging service than a video game company. Actually, reminds me a little of Twitch, but with less personality.

The logo looks like something generic you would see from a Indie or AA Japanese or Asian Studio. I would say that, but they have better logos than whatever Namco just came up with now. I'm all for changing everything, but that looks too simple and more generic than even generic. It looks like something somebody would come up with in a college course for making business cards or practice logos.
