Oh that's not their aim. That's utilitarianism, and that's liberal bourgeoisie ethics. The goal of the Marxist-Leninist is to apply the process of Marxism-Leninism, which will apparently ultimately lead to the establishment of global communism. The process cannot be critiqued through the lens of ethics because ethics are not a consideration, only the process's utility in establishing communism is a consideration, and remember, Marxists believe that Marxism is the only process which can result in global communism. (The development of an ideal society based on a system of ethics is the preserve of utopian socialists, who the Marxists obviously characterise as decadent liberals who can never or will never establish socialism)Surely, if one's aim is truly to minimize suffering or maximize equality or maximize justice or what-have-you, then that should be the lens through which all actions are critiqued regardless of the person/party/state that takes them.
