I mean maybe I'm not quite as woke as I thought I was but none of these feel like they're exclusionary. Look, most of those need some training. Being prepared is incredibly abnormal and need lots of training and is somewhat mutually exclusive to doing more because you're not prioritising properly.
But that's not the point. I believe ableism includes neurodivergent. So understanding body language would be almost impossible. Chronic fatigue people would obviously have trouble with energy. I dont know whether it needs a call out

Yeah, I'm supposed to be working right now but instead I'm washing clothes but it doesn't matter because I did my work at 2AM because I happened to be awake and the numbers will reflect that.

No? Imma go with no. I think one of the greatest problems presenting the modern workplace is the logistical mismatch between increased efficiency and the continued need to be available for others that you work with. Being able to get all the work done in a smaller or more flexible window is all well and good, but people still need to be available to communicate with coworkers and customers. Rich elites did not make up someone needing to talk to you first thing sometimes.

Frontline work IS different from other types of work. I get incredibly jealous of my friends and family being able to work from home and me having to be at work. Just because of the type of work I have. They have plenty of meetings with clients, they just dont have to do it in person thus managing schedules is way different
There is not many things in life that I've ever been jealous of. I'm not afraid to admit this is one. And I can not possibly conceive of a different way to set up frontline work

God don't I know it. Best time of this whole Covid thing was when we had to be in lockdown. Still had to (physically, since I'm an auto technician) go to work, but with completely empty streets and no visible law enforcement. Turned my 20-30 minute commute down to 5-10 minutes.
I'll throw my hat into the ring of "lockdown was nice," including commutes. I had a brief period of working from home. But considering my commute is 2hrs each way...yeah.

For the most part, no. For a start, we work during the day because it's better for our health (sleep disruption is bad), plus being easier and cheaper (warmth, light, etc.)
Working hours also partly act to protect workers - such as from the expectation that they are constantly on demand. I have had students who email me at 10pm at night and send me a message at 9am the next morning complaining I have not answered them. They can fuck right off, and if my employer ever expected that of me, they could fuck right off too.
Secondly, in order for a team to work, the team has to be prepared to be available at certain times because they need to sort stuff out. Staff being guaranteed available in certain hours is a huge benefit to getting things done, especially in an emergency where you can't afford to wait 6h between emails because everyone's on different shifts.
Where I would agree with you is that there are certain jobs or tasks - usually where the workers needs to get things done individually - where the deadline matters but a daily schedule doesn't. But a huge amount of necessary work people do does not fit into this model.
That question is irrelevant to their point about your hypocrisy. Whether or not they are also a hypocrite doesn't excuse you acting like one. "Two wrongs don't make a right" is something children are taught...
