If you were ranking the most important inventions in human history, which would rank higher: cheese or pants?
What Cheetodust said. Also, there's other garments that can serve the same function as pants, whereas cheese is imo irreplaceable. I mean, I could live without pants, but unless you have good reason to like lactose intolerance, could you call living without cheese really living?

I would like to take this opportunity to pose a very important question to the forum at large:

If you were ranking the most important inventions in human history, which would rank higher: cheese or pants?
Somewhat the same as Cheeto/Chimpzy said. Pants were always going to be invented out of necessity, however, the real question should have been between cheese and hats. One of the most important articles of clothing, and people are just not wearing enough of them.

In regards to pants or cheese, unequivocally cheese. There's always trousers to turn to, but no substitute for cheese.

I don't know about that. Both cheese and pants are old enough and vague enough that we can't quite say when they were first made, but the oldest known record of cheese is older than the oldest known record of pants by a good margin, and is known to have existed on at least 3 continents thousands of years ago. I think cheese may truly have been the necessity.

So, in your world, if the 'muscles wouldn't naturally happen 365 days a year', then it not cool. Got it.

So Rocky is fine as he's meant to be at peak condition. Rambo is not because he's just a rando solider.
Wasn't Rambo in the first film far less built than in later films anyway?

Yeah, dairy, for those who can stomach it is a pretty effective "don't die" food group. Turning it in to cheese helped with the whole "we don't have fridges" situation.

1) just looks like some Church of Gail madness (Look it up if you don't know it's an older lady who comes up with some mad stuff that is somewhere between bible stories and hentai plotlines)

2) That's not that weird really "Oh we TPed the house and all of us at the party" sure it's not party poppers and confetti but it's probably easier to clean up and makes some kind of sense I guess

3) Just seems like people thought some shit might go down and it didn't.

On pants or Cheese, it depends on the quality of the cheese, if we're talking some decent cheese then cheese but if we're talking the low end awful stuff then even the worst pants will beat it.

Invention of cheese was a necessity pretty much anywhere with a milk surplus

That's what goat and sheep cheese is for. It's missing out on a LOT of great cheeses, but it still has stuff as diverse as Roquefort, feta and pecorino.

I think you fail to realize how pivotal that first moment was, when what were once sea creatures have now shuffled out of the primordial ooze onto those sandy wastes for the first time, and felt that chill as the wind whipped through their sets of legs.

*taps nose*

Why else do you think hair was one of the next things on the evolutionary flow chart as the prototype to pants? Because even little prosaic creatures hate the feeling of a draft on their nethers, especially when wet.

No-one tell them part of that was because of Mi6 being concerned over numerous links to lets say groups who aren't fans of the UK so likely seeded a number of stories due to the possible security threat the saw Corbyn posing.
sounds very democratic

Surely that’s MI5’s job, not SIS.

Well, here's the thing. I don't go around taking measurements of actors muscles and pretend a certain length/size is 'unrealistic'. So, no. I haven't actually measured to compared.

Based of memory, I'd feel like Rambo 3 was bigger than First Blood. But am willing to take in evidence to the contrary. But then, as I said, I don't care about muscle size.

So maybe I am late, but Youtube got rid of dislikes today or earlier. You know who I blame. I blame the business community. Those fake smiling people want everyone to not offend anyone, to be happy or at least not be unhappy, and not hate anything because that costs money. Even if you hate watching paint dry, or dislike someone's paint tutorial nope that may cost lost revenue.

I have youtube plus too, and I would literally pay double for anyone to have a Youtube clone where you can dislike comments, and videos.

This is very much true. We have a thread on it elsewhere

It was also an attempt to stop bullying and cancelling, particularly on smaller channels. But no one thinks this solution would solve that problem
