So I watched Spider-Man: No Way Home last night, and I just need to talk about it.
I haven't been the biggest fan of Tom Holland's other Spider-Man movies, so this one quite easily topped both of those. For me, it was punching well into Spider-Verse territory. At the very least, it was definitely my favourite live-action Spider-Man film, and is definitely in my top 5 MCU movies.
This film is basically just 2h30m of the film beating you over the head with pure nostalgia, and I was 100% up for it.
When pretty much any returning character from the 2000's Spider-Man films or 2010's Amazing Spider-Man films walked onto the screen, the entire room just burst into cheering and clapping. I've never experienced anything like this before at the cinema, and the room was just full of so much energy, and so many people having just the best time.
Honestly, I don't think I have had this much fun watching a movie.
