I enjoyed HZD and it was my favorite game of 2017. I do believe the sequel will be done much better then the first game.
Considering all the many scummy practices they did without Activision's involvement, this does not surprise me.

It makes sense in terms of sales. Steam is probably the biggest platform currently, and they'd be idiots on not having their games there because of the NFT.
Sure, they can put it on EGS where they get bigger cut and NFTs are allowed, but I doubt EGS will catch up to Steam anytime soon
As someone who doesn't particularly care for STALKER(nothing against it, I tried it and it didn't appeal to me much)......Hooray? I don't really have a dog in the STALKER fight so it feels awkward to comment on a game I don't have an interest in regardless , but Hooray on Principle, I guess.

What's even worse is that BF looks like shit, and uses a ton of old assets from FFXIV. And it's got focus on "F2P" bullshit! Squeenix is expecting people pay 10 or more the amount as the base price?! While better than Bubsy, I don't think that many people are dying for Gex to come back. I play two of his games in my entire life, and I never touched a series again. Some things are just remain dead. Can we bring back Vectorman or Klanoa please? I'll take another Ristar or Dynamite Heady. Any of those are way more interesting. Hell, give me another Wild 9.

Demon souls is the only PS5 game I want to play and I can wait. Especially since I'll be deep into Eldin Ring in a few months, so not in a hurry.

There's a special place in hell for the level designers of Gex 2. Especially the one who thought tall steps (or multiple series in the same room with collectables above each one) was a good idea, knowing Gex quips every time he pulls himself up a ledge. Every. Single. Time.
At least Blasto (RIP Phil Hartman) had a setting to tone down how often the title character talked, hell the default wasn't even nearly as chatty as Gex.
It's been so long, that I don't even remember much anymore. I just know I played the second and third game once. After that, I dropped the series hard.
I admit that I have never played Blasto. By the time it did come out, my interest was starting to change and I just wanted to see so many other types of games. With that said, rest in peace Phil Hartman.
