I'd say part of the issue is that conservatives do not regard history as a record of events for posterity. The purpose of history as far as they are concerned is to be a hagiography for the winners who get to write it.The problem is that such bills are written to white-wash (fitting....) history taught in schools. The notion of "instill collective guilt on the basis of race" could apply to almost any race-based event in the US. Because the "offense" is based not on the historical accuracy of what is taught but instead the feelings of the children, their parents, the school board, politicians, and random nobodies with an axe to grind in regards to the historical events.
Pretty sure you don't buildup 175K troops with tanks, APCs, and fighter jets on another countries border for no reason.
That is precisely the narrative the State Department is trying to get you to believe. Presumably nothing of importance will happen and everyone will forget about it.
Yeah! Just like with Abkhazia and Crimea! That is precisely the narrative the State Department is trying to get you to believe. Presumably nothing of importance will happen and everyone will forget about it.
and Georgia tooYeah! Just like with Abkhazia and Crimea!
Oh wait nvm.
Basically every nation. Every culture has passed down records that glossed over the worst of their own actions and celebrated the best. Don't kid yourself into thinking it's a uniquely American thing.I'd say part of the issue is that conservatives do not regard history as a record of events for posterity. Didn't say it was American, I said it was conservative. Try to keep up, kiddo.Don't kid yourself into thinking it's a uniquely American thing.
Shockingly enough it's at least sort of legit. The example is comically extreme and it beggars belief. Then again, if the last five years--and especially the last two--have taught me anything, it's that people are much dumber, much crazier, and much more self-absorbed AND self-destructive than I thought. That said, I remain skeptical that such behavior is nearly so widespread as Dwarvenhobble seems to believe it is.Well the channel it's on is the CBS13 youtube channelHigh school teacher fired after praising antifa: ‘I have 180 days to turn them into revolutionaries’
A California teacher who brandished an antifa flag in his classroom was fired after a video was leaked of him praising the left-wing militant group.news.yahoo.com
1 teacher out of the 3.5 million across the US is so statistically irrelevant that it might as well not exist. Not to mention that the event was so out of the ordinary that it both made national news and led to the teacher being pretty much immediately fired even in "commie" California.Shockingly enough it's at least sort of legit. Nor would propaganda falsely claim such for no reason.Pretty sure you don't buildup 175K troops with tanks, APCs, and fighter jets on another countries border for no reason.
wtf do you think Abkhazia is?and Georgia too
Well if to be a modern progressive it means tearing down a scientist who helped land a probe on a comet because he worse a shirt that offended some people. I'll take the glory story over the bullshit tearing down. The story trying to inspire people to better about Marie Curie's dedication to science and not the story of her being a not very good mother.Didn't say it was American, I said it was conservative. Try to keep up, kiddo.
So we're going to move on to trying the minimise that it happened and play it off as "Not that big a deal it was only 1 teacher"1 teacher out of the 3.5 million across the US is so statistically irrelevant that it might as well not exist. Half the world is vaccinated, if there were serious widespread side effects, they'd be well known by now.Posting this first so I'm not just doing a 1 word reply to some-one.
Refugees lack COVID shots because drugmakers fear lawsuits, documents show
Tens of millions of migrants may be denied COVID-19 vaccines from a global programme because some major manufacturers are worried about legal risks from harmful side effects, according to officials and internal documents from Gavi, the charity operating the programme, reviewed by Reuters.www.reuters.com
yeh drug companies fearing lack of legal protection from harmful side effects (which we keep being told are very rare with the vaccine anyway supposedly) are denying Covid-19 vaccines to refugees.
Out of interest, do you believe the US State Dept. controls the Ukrainian defence ministry?US intel

Funny how we got so many people in the world that act like medical experts, but clearly not and have little to no knowledge of how vaccines actually work. Nor the intellect nor mental fortitude that actually study medicine and the human body. Just armchair bullcrap, and some jackass on YouTube with no actual knowledge or experience. Or a "friend in the field".Half the world is vaccinated, it there were serious widespread side effects, they'd be well known by now.
