The problem is that such bills are written to white-wash (fitting....) history taught in schools. The notion of "instill collective guilt on the basis of race" could apply to almost any race-based event in the US. Because the "offense" is based not on the historical accuracy of what is taught but instead the feelings of the children, their parents, the school board, politicians, and random nobodies with an axe to grind in regards to the historical events.
I'd say part of the issue is that conservatives do not regard history as a record of events for posterity. The purpose of history as far as they are concerned is to be a hagiography for the winners who get to write it.

That is precisely the narrative the State Department is trying to get you to believe. Presumably nothing of importance will happen and everyone will forget about it.
Pretty sure you don't buildup 175K troops with tanks, APCs, and fighter jets on another countries border for no reason.

I actually do hope that it's Putin pretending to invade, and the US, EU, NATO, and Ukraine calling their bluff, and then Putin goes home, but in case it isn't, and Russia does invade that's an act of aggression, and if someone were to invade your country I hope someone stands up for you too.

Basically every nation. Every culture has passed down records that glossed over the worst of their own actions and celebrated the best. Don't kid yourself into thinking it's a uniquely American thing.

Well the channel it's on is the CBS13 youtube channel
Shockingly enough it's at least sort of legit. The example is comically extreme and it beggars belief. Then again, if the last five years--and especially the last two--have taught me anything, it's that people are much dumber, much crazier, and much more self-absorbed AND self-destructive than I thought. That said, I remain skeptical that such behavior is nearly so widespread as Dwarvenhobble seems to believe it is.

1 teacher out of the 3.5 million across the US is so statistically irrelevant that it might as well not exist. Not to mention that the event was so out of the ordinary that it both made national news and led to the teacher being pretty much immediately fired even in "commie" California.

Didn't say it was American, I said it was conservative. Try to keep up, kiddo.
Well if to be a modern progressive it means tearing down a scientist who helped land a probe on a comet because he worse a shirt that offended some people. I'll take the glory story over the bullshit tearing down. The story trying to inspire people to better about Marie Curie's dedication to science and not the story of her being a not very good mother.

But hey, my other point still stands, all cultures do this to an extent

So we're going to move on to trying the minimise that it happened and play it off as "Not that big a deal it was only 1 teacher"

So the rules and laws are being put in to stop the kind of thing I pointed out and make sure it's not widespread or seen by activists as a good thing to do and direction to take. Pretty sure plenty of laws get made after just a few incidents. I mean doesn't 1state have laws against riding a bicycle in a swimming pool and some other one have laws making it illegal specifically to try and have sex with an alligator?

Also here's some-one teaching ages 2-4

Fun fact, tweets existed from her on about investigating the legalities of teaching her class about kinks........

yeh drug companies fearing lack of legal protection from harmful side effects (which we keep being told are very rare with the vaccine anyway supposedly) are denying Covid-19 vaccines to refugees.

Isn’t project veritas notorious for suspiciously editing their clips to manufacture a false narrative? I would t trust anything they say.

And even if the teacher was pro antifa, ok?We as human beings have our own individual beliefs and ideas. This one guy happened to like antifa. Also unless he was actually using his beliefs to break the law I don’t think he should’ve been fired.

Half the world is vaccinated, if there were serious widespread side effects, they'd be well known by now.

Funny how we got so many people in the world that act like medical experts, but clearly not and have little to no knowledge of how vaccines actually work. Nor the intellect nor mental fortitude that actually study medicine and the human body. Just armchair bullcrap, and some jackass on YouTube with no actual knowledge or experience. Or a "friend in the field".
