They're putting these out so fast. They almost might as well had just done one trailer at the rate they're going. Much appreciated though.

This game is generating a shit load of Rule 34. Holy hell!
Nah, the R34 of Dungeon Fighter has been around for a long time at this point. For almost as long as the original game itself. It's just now people who never heard of it, or barely looked into it, are picking up an "interest", so the numbers are spiking.

You fucking greedy assholes at Ubisoft.

And they wonder why people love discs. This is insane.
This is part of the reason why I think The Epic Games store is a good thing. By diversifying where your digital games are you have less to loose should an account get banned for whatever reason.

In this regard i think the account might have been hacked and then involved in something that goes against the ToS. Or that the player in this article is not telling the whole truth. And even if he is, this is the first time I've ever seen a report like this and it strikes me as an exceptional odd and rare case.

Also it seems like a rather expensive turn around. Even if you took a break from gaming why would you sell your computer? Because the moment he wanted to get back into gaming he had to drop several thousands of dollars for a new gaming computer all because he quit on a whim? I dunno, things about that story don't add up.

Is anyone besides Nintendo really keeping the mascot side-scroller alive?
Aside from the indie scene, not much else. There were a couple of revivals during the 2010s with 2.5D remakes with varying degrees of success, but that was a long time ago by this point.

"Better than Bubsy" isn't precisely the highest bar to clear.
Don't matter; better than Bubsy. I would still take Ristar and Pinhead over Gex though.

The way to make the most money in Red Dead 2 Online is by being a glorified delivery person in missions with no enemies. Rockstar does not know how to design games.

There is nothing "underrated" about anything related to FFXIII-2. Anything related to FFXIII fucking sucks! Get off the hooka and crack pipe Kotaku.

Kotaku trying to stay relevant is hilarious

I can't even laugh at them anymore when they do pompous and wannabe "wise and intellectual" articles like the XIII-2. My expression is "You have nothing better to post right now?" They try to make themselves and the game more important than what they actually are. Kotaku does have some good articles and does point out many serious/important issues within the gaming sphere. But it's shit like the article I mentioned, why people have the habit of mocking Kotaku. They make it too damn easy and noticeable.

I feel like I should agree with them at times, or at least be sympathetic(and I guess I occasionally do) but a majority of the time I get the impression of them sniffing their own farts for fun which comes to mind far more often.

For example,

I'm kind of at a loss why the author wrote this. It's not THAT hard to get through the Suicide mission with no deaths even if you don't have a guide in front if you(and by now there are numerous guides). It feels like "I have a quota to fill" kind of piece, honestly.

Their click baity articles is one of the reasons I don’t go to their site often.

I like some of the stuff in XIII-2 but I'm under no impression it's good. It appeals to me in the same way Dr. Who does, a big stupid time travel plot that's the ice cream of sci-fi(pretty, tastes good, no nutrition whatsoever). Also, Caius is a whiny Emo jerk(who happens to have a good VA) who could have easily gotten what he wanted within 5 minutes by literally killing himself(rendering everything you do pointless and a waste of time).

The whole ff xiii trilogy was bad comedy.

Pretty much. especially since it gave us this joke.

Yeah, taking 30 hours to get good isn't really a selling point, SE. It's the definition of poor pacing. And I say that as someone who is fine with a slow burn when it WORKS.

The whole corridor shit out me off the game even though I’m not into this franchise per say.

I've had good times with the FF games but I can't work up any enthusiasm for them after FF10, and even FF10 I only sorta liked(I spent most of FF10 wanting to punch Tidus in the face....a lot). I even bought 15 on discount and can't be bothered to even install it knowing just how thrown together it ended up being(and all the DLC BS).

Even the FF7 remake has the issue of I have no idea how long that's going to get dragged out for and I don't fell like firing it up just to wait 5 years for the next 1/10th of the story
