Cyberpunk might be worth playing on next gen hardward finally.
About time! Here's the official statement:

I've said this before, but I always welcome games making a huge comeback. Unless it is fundamentally broken or as a very little dept to it (I'm looking at you, BF2042!), I always want to see games fully reaching their potentials and have the devs continue to put actual contents into their games.

We might have the next NMS or FF14: A Realm Reborn here!

And the update is free so that's always a nice boon.

I actually want to replay Witcher 3 when they release the ps5 version just to see what they do there.

Just checked the Cyberpunk file size on PS5 cause the original PS4 file was like around 100gig, and am very pleased to find out it's been shrunk to 55gig. That's probably the largest drop out of any game I seen so far, which is an impressive optimisation for the SSD I imagine. Now Call of Duty has less than no excuse...they have anti-excuse for their aggressive HDD-hogging file sizes!

Absolutely. Call of Duty is bullshit.

The PS5's SSD is fucking rediculous.

I find it kinda chuckle-worthy that the GPU difference between Min. and Recommended accounts for literally nothing in between the two specs. I know the 1070 (my current card actually) was a decent step up, but still. Leads me to think most of the brunt is from the open world systems due to the steeper CPU/RAM specs.

Hmm, i just did a second look, and it looks like gpu is the only thing I’m overqualified for recommended specs (i have 3080). Everything else it’s a exact match.

Since pc specs rarely translates well for the actual performance, i guess we’ll wait and see
