Apparently some people are mad you can see little tiny, nearly invisible hairs on her face with the PS5. Because real women don't have any kind of hair on their face, apparently.
Really now? Well then. "Tell me you've never been within a couple feet of a woman, without telling me you've never been within a couple feet of a woman."

I think the problem can be summed up as "My face is up here".

Or maybe it's something else. I noticed Peach fuzz on my 4 year old daughters face. It took me 30 years to realize most cars tell you which side the gas cap is on with a little symbol on the dashboard and I had to have Cracked.com point it out to me. Maybe I'm just wierd.

So IDW.

Tiny, nearly invisible hairs, but no armpit fuzz at all? BOOOO!!

In all honesty though, this game has the most attractive normal (non-super model) looking faces I've ever seen. Everyone's face is rendered, lite, and animated stupendously.

By the way, is it me or does every character want Aloy's poon in this game? First we have Avad being thirsty as all hell. 'Hey Aloy, be my queen so we can bone every night. -Hey Aloy, I might relinquish my throne to Itamen when he comes of age. Then I'll be a free man, travel the world... and you know, maybe we could bone every night.' Then there's Vanasha being pouty that we're leaving West. Then later you meet Petra who's all 'You're the first thing I've enjoyed looking at in this place'. Good lord!

Been playing the game.....didnt play the first one so im a little lost tbh.
So spoiler obviously, but quick recap:

In the near future some guy invented super war machine with AI, those AI eventually went crazy and started killing everything on earth. The only way to stop them was to hack them, but that would take decade (century?) so a last ditch plan was decided to build a super AI that would hack the robot to stop them and during that time two plan would be put in place to stop all life from being extinct. 1) a bunch of human were moved to some underground city (this is never really relevant in the first game but will probably be in this one) and 2) machine were put in place to undo the ecological damage of the machine and repopulate the world (those are the robot animal), this included making a bunch of lab grown baby when the time is right. But two problem happen, the guy who made the murderous machine went crazy and decided to delete the part of the plan that was in charge of teaching the new human about technology/history, so that's why everyone is a tribal. Other problem is that part of the plan involved starting the re population process anew if things didn't go as planned, the AI in charge of this also went crazy and is now trying to restart the re population process from scratch (ie wipe out every human), at the end of the first game you stop that AI, except not really.

Aloy is a clone of the person who was in charges of the plan in the first place so that's why she can use all the ancient machine when no one else can. She grew up ostracized from her society because the people from her tribe were freaked out by the fact that she wasn't born from a person (the game take places many generation after the first generation of lab grown baby have been let into the world). I'm not sure if any of the other tribal/kingdom stuff is important in this game but it wasn't particularly interesting so w/e.

The shippers already had them beat years ago.

The games loads so fucking fast on Ps5 the developers purposefully slowed it down so you could read tooltips. Bullshit, speed them back up!!!!
There is a menu option to change it from that to ASAP. Really though it’s mostly marketing bs when they talk about needing to slow them down. MGSV and I think TLoU2 had the load screen tips where you just press X or whatever whenever you’re ready to get back into it, which is how it should be. Sometimes I wanna sip my drink or read a text, look up something on YouTube, etc. and that button prompt is much appreciated to just being dropped back into it and needing to hit pause anyways.

I hope to fuck Elden Ring has a button prompt for its load screens too now that I think of it.

But how will we know the lore if the load screens go too fast? Think, Hansel! Think!

GRR needs you to read his lore because so you know he can write something that doesn't take 10+ years.

That’s what I meant, that the game wouldn’t resume until a button press. I think Martin actually wanted ten pages per load screen that the player wouldn’t be able to skip, but Miyazaki said that’s not how games work. Word is Martin only conceded when he learned it meant players would be dying ten times more frequently than with his idea.
