Wonder if now the misogynerds and "ironic" nazis will remember that the tradcons don't like them either and they were just useful pawns.
I find it funny they're shifting the blame, despite the terrorist's motives being super clear, and the evidence right there. Nothing surprises me in the slightest. I did expect them to blame "hip hop culture and the violence/sex surrounding it". Either way, they can fuck off and join that terrorist in hell since they care so much for him. I wonder, if he had killed anyone they personally loved or cared, would they be soft on him?Fucking naturally
Whereas if he had liked a single BLM tweet Fox news would be blaming the entire movement for his actions. When he personally ascribes a particular worldview currently being espoused by MAJOR Conservative voices however then we shouldn't try to act like there's a connection.I find it funny they're shifting the blame, despite the terrorist's motives being super clear, and the evidence right there. To be fair, I find it quite hard to listen to a lot of modern hip hop because much of the time it feels like I'm listening to a hate crime.I did expect them to blame "hip hop culture and the violence/sex surrounding it".
That depends on what you consider modern hip hop. If you're just listening stuff from the mainstream, that's the worst place to go. Mainstream hip hop has not been good in a long time. They're still good ones out there, but sturgeon's law still applies either way. If you want stuff that are meaningful and not just shallow materialism, check out the Indy circle, youtube, or soundcloud. There's plenty of people who that does hip hop a much better service. They're always being crap online of course, the least it'll all be filtered out and you can focus on the good stuff. To be fair, I find it quite hard to listen to a lot of modern hip hop because much of the time it feels like I'm listening to a hate crime.
As for NWA, it's why I don't bother with all the gangster hip hop. There's a reason why that genre of music died the moment Tupac and Biggie Smalls got killed. I understand and respect for what they did, but it didn't leave the countless invitators who never had that life or barely suffered. After that, it was just straight up shallow materialism. Like I said though, you can't blame hip hop for all societies problems; especially if it's the songs pointing it out. Not to mention, most songs from the gangster hip hop era have aged worse every single year. Though there are a few that remain relevant and are actually good.I fear there's a huge authenticity deficit in a lot of artists. Going back in the day to NWA and so on, they talked about their lives. From that come a load of wannabes who rip-off the tried and tested themes, either without experiencing them or taking on those lifestyle choices just to write about them (and I saw a documentary about Florida rappers that did nothing to disabuse me of that perception).
I'm not convinced it is without some influence on the audience. I don't think this extends to gunning down people in the street to any significant level, but hearing twats on the bus recite lyrics about "b****es" and "hos" with gusto does not give me confidence that they are developing respectful attitudes to women.
Uhh... not really. And many of the ideas of communism are liberal ideas.
I personally refer to this effect as "genre incest", and it is by no means limited to hip hop. In most genres you find people who copy the tropes from their successful predecessors in circles until all that is left is a caricature, totally disconnected from reality, with all the flaws magnified to a grotesque degree. To be fair, I find it quite hard to listen to a lot of modern hip hop because much of the time it feels like I'm listening to a hate crime.

Fair enough.Fascinating discussion that belongs in a different forum
YouTube seems convinced I want to hear Steven Crowder's take on that whataboutism. Fuck the algorithm. The usual suspects are trying out the line "what about Waukesha", an incident
last Christmas where a black dude ran a car through a parade, killing 6 and injuring 62. How the media "doesn't care about black racial violence" and so on. Pathetic attempt at whataboutism.
Problem with that line is that I vividly remember the media talking about Waukesha, for days and days and days, until the cops said it wasn't racially motivated nor an act or terror. And then the usual suspects, who are members of the media stopped talking about it.
Well, the Mueller report made Greg's brain rot
People like this shooter (who is currently unnamed, just identified as an 18-year-old male, and all for the better) make it a lot harder for me to be against the death penalty, and I hope he spends the remainder of his life in prison, and then has his skeleton hang around for a few more centuries just to be safe.
What is wrong with people here? Being against the censorship of ideas is being for speech involving violence? You think twitch have an obligation to live stream murder?
And shocking no one, the liberal media never ran a correction story on Rebekah Jones being a liar. You get half the news from both places, that's why you gotta to pay attention to both.https://www.rawstory.com/fox-news-payton-gendron/
Shocking no one, Fox News is not reporting on the fact that the shooter wrote about Great Replacement conspiracies just like... wait for it... Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham.
Kill him anyway. Anyone impressed by the martyrdom of such a figure is already beyond hope.Executing someone turns them into a martyr. Put putting them in a prison and having everyone forget about them...
