Freedom Planet 2
It looks and plays fantastic, they put so much love into the game.
Steam is all about the demos right now, so I downloaded Forever Skies. It feels like a mix between Raft and Subnautica, though kind of clunky.

Another demo: Scars Above, a sci-fi-themed Soulslike. You get projectile weapons, but not much ammunition, encouraging careful aiming (or good melee tactics if you're not a good shot). This one feels a lot more fluid; being on the Unreal Engine doesn't hurt.

I took a break from my usual diet of shooters, shooters and also shooters, and played a walking simulator I got for free on the EGS a while back: The First Tree. It's framed around a man telling his wife about a dream (and how it connected to a recent tragedy) but all I know is that it makes me want to pet da widdle floof.
I ate a shiny seed and now I sparkle like celebrity supermodels! (Eternal Cylinder just released their free next gen patch, with extra rumbles, and sparkles)

Did some No Man's Sky. Found this boy wandering around my paradise planet.
He does not play well with others.
I found a planet called a "Frozen Hell" and, because I don't listen to warnings, I landed on it. This freakin' mofo literally popped up in my face within five seconds.
I didn't stay long after that. I did see this really neat alien forest, though.
I've heard that mod makers sometimes include goofy or gross Easter eggs in their mods just to take players by surprise. But I'm sure that never-

I almost bypassed this planet entirely until I realized it had some resources I needed. I would've missed out on some pretty visuals.

Scorn. Rather mid as a game, but looks nice. Very Giger, obviously.
Have you had any trouble with postimage lately? I can't get anything to load using the Insert Image via URL. I'll also get 503 errors for large chunks of certain galleries.
Yeah, it's a little rough right now. Images load pretty slowly, and I also get the 503 errors in galleries, tho opening the individual images does load (if slowly). Also doesn't to affect anything I posted.
Whereas Skyrim was my fantasy-themed desktop background generator, No Man's Sky is my sci-fi-themed desktop background generator.
I have absolutely no idea what this does or why it's here. And yes, of course I flew my ship through it.
