Oh they trying.

A rural Arizona county’s refusal to certify the results of the November election could cost Republicans a seat in the US House of Representatives, where they hold a narrow seven-seat majority.

Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, also the governor-elect, has gone to state court to force Cochise County to certify the election after its Republican-led Board of Supervisors failed to meet a Nov. 28 deadline while making debunked claims about the state’s voting machines.

In court papers, Hobbs’ office said that if the county refuses to certify by Dec. 8, the ballots of more than 47,000 county residents will not be included in the final tally.

That would flip the results of the race for Arizona’s Sixth Congressional District, where Republican Juan Ciscomani holds a 5,232-vote lead over Democrat Kirsten Engel in unofficial results, as well as the race for state Superintendent of Public Instruction, where the Republican candidate has a narrow lead.

“The Board’s inaction not only violates the plain language of the statute, but also undermines a basic tenet of free and fair elections in this state: ensuring that every Arizonan’s voice is heard,” the lawsuit reads.

Arizona has been a hotbed of election denial, with failed candidates for governor, senator, secretary of state and attorney general who all cast doubt on the legitimacy of the 2020 election. Failed gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who ran against Hobbs, has not conceded her loss, while Donald Trump has aired conspiracy theories about the state’s elections on social media.

The nonprofit Arizona Alliance for Retired Americans is also suing to try to force Cochise County to certify.

Elsewhere in Arizona, a county Board of Supervisors whose members had originally threatened to refuse to certify the results of the election ended up doing so just before the deadline. Though the Mohave County Board of Supervisors postponed the vote once, citing concerns about voting machines, it ultimately approved the results rather than risk being charged with a felony.

Also, let's not ignore that Trump has "truthed" that Kari Lake should be "installed" as Governor.

Who cares about the votes? Just put his people in power!

Yeah, I'm not sure you know how discovery works in a court of law.

A laptop known to be compromised, with no known chain of custody, ain't passing it.
No, discovery is a months long process of both sides asking for the far end of a fart and from whence it came. What you’re probably thinking of is the laptop being entered into evidence; that’s where the whole allowed/disallowed thing happens.

Discovery's that thing you don't have to comply with, right?

-Alex Jones, Probably
Yup, that is indeed what made him lose by default on his recent court cases. He stopped complying after the first round went so badly for him. Discovery is also the reason Scientology is now much more reluctant to try and sue anybody after it went badly for them before, so if you wanna do some conjecture, defamation or any other general negative gossip about them, now is the time. I even recommend it!

It’s because he said he didn’t want to be a vampire and would rather be a werewolf, isn’t it?
I mean at this point why the hell not? I mean, I'd rather be team werewolf over team vampire, but then again I'd rather be a Pig then a Fascist so take that as you will.

If nothing else, watching Moscow Mitch squirm a little is always nice. And watching Trump have to take some heat for it (even if only for a week or so before the average republican forgives him for everything because he's not a democrat).

Yes, Sour Grapes are delicious, why do you ask?

I know you were being facetious (not about him saying that, but about it having any effect on my wishes), but what really made me want him to lose was his saying that anyone born after 1990 hadn't "earned the right" to vote, and that if they think other countries have it better, they should feel free to go to those other countries and have their citizenships revoked.

Oh yes, the "Love it or leave it". Which somehow doesn't apply to their side despite how much they complain America is going to hell and they need to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

A zombie is superior to both.
I’m not so sure about that. A zombie is always going to be clearly a zombie. That’s pretty much a universal trait across all flavors and styles of zombie. And zombies have a very simple and well known weakness that can be exploited at any time of day or night.

Vampires and werewolves can hide what they are most of the time and their weaknesses are harder to exploit. A vampire’s weakness to sunlight can only be exploited during the day, and staking them through the heart and/or decapitating them is pretty hard to do when they are awake.

And I’m pretty sure you need a silver weapon (bullet/arrow/bolt/etc) to kill a werewolf. Some myths say any silver would work, others say it has to be inherited silver or silver that has been blessed by a holy person.

Also depends on the mythology really. Some Werewolf stuff says nothing about silver. A lot of vampire lore is not really much like Stoker(and even Stoker says vampires can go out in daylight but they're weak). Hell, a lot of vampire scares in history are apparently county folks who saw a corpse that didn't look as rotted as they thought it should be(clearly being experts on corpse rotting) and of course they had a vampire on their hands.

Apparently there's some famous case from Eastern Europe were a Doctor from city was out in the country dealing with an alleged vampire and we know because he wrote a letter home pretty much saying "So the locals here swear there's a vampire attacking people and I've been trying my best to tell them, no it's not a vampire. They wouldn't listen and despite my insistence and even threats they dug up a local corpse so they could throw it in the river. I swear I did everything I could to stop them and these people are fucking stupid". Paraphrased but that's the gist of it.
