Does Trump really want to play the "your name sounds foreign and therefore you can't be trusted" card? I mean, his ancestral family name was "Drumpf".
That is merely a fact, and thus of little importance.

We both know his base doesn't care about any of that so long as he promises to hurt the right people.
Ah, but if he's failed to hurt the right people enough (he didn't get the wall his followers wanted), mightn't that sour him to them? Serious question, don't know how much his supporters are supporting him personally, or the bigotry he was using that he might fail.

Oh hun no. The fuck you gonna do when you have to debate Trump for the Republican nomination and you have to suck his dick cuz your base is actually his base?
The point of Haley running is not to win, it's just to fuck with the other candidates in the hope one of them offers her a juicy cabinet position so she'll drop out.

Probably, yes, but that's not as funny.

Not going to lie. This feels like the Twitterfiles. Yes, the Biden campaign asked for Twitter to censor things. No, the Twitterfiles didn't prove that Biden did this .... it was proven already

Similarly, everyone here except Houseman knew that everyone on Fox is lying. We had proof of this back then

Nothing new is being stated....

That being said, I do hope this makes the Deformation case for Dominion and Smartmatic fulfill on the actual malice requirements

I'd also note that I really dislike Fox general defense of 'Well, Trump is saying the election is rigged so we have to report on it.' There is a huge difference between reporting on something and agreeing that the election was rigged, including manufacturing evidence and outrage

None of this comes to the surprise of anyone who remembers that Fox News had to admit in court that they are not actually a news organization, but "entertainment".

However, "Fox News" fits more easily on stationery than "Fox Bullshit For Your Racist Uncle to Repeat on Twitter".

Remember the shock conservatives had over NBC (I think) having the count of the number of dead from Covid during news readings and how they were doing it to increase ratings

To conservatives, this was apparently terrible and bad journalism even though they just used the real numbers. But telling lies and not doing a single iota of fact checking is good journalism

Things are going fucking great on Twitter
Twitter, of course, is busy allowing back on a load of very dodgy far right crazies. Recently it has restored the account of a British neo-nazi group and its leader. Meanwhile in India, however, Twitter happily complied with the government's suppression of a BBC documentary looking at the evidence of PM Narendra Modi's involvement with the lethal Gujarat riots 20 years ago.

Of course, one of the issues with US-based social media (not just Twitter) is that it's attitude to what can and cannot be said on their platforms has always been extremely uneven across the world.

The problem with Nikki Haley is that she's neither completely insane nor 100% white, meaning that there's no prominent place for her in the modern Republican party.

She also committed some grievous culture war since like removing a confederate flag or being considered fine enough by the Democrats.

What actually is the point of Nikki Haley? What's she offering that a load of other average Republicans don't? Nothing, ultimately. Except being a woman and an ethnic minority, neither of which are plusses in her party.

She might not be 100% white (in fact, I think she's 0% white), but I can't help but feel she went to a lot of trouble to appear as un-ethnic as she could: preferred name, conversion to Christianity, etc. Want to minimise scaring the (racist) voters.

Tokenism? Pretty sure that's why they tried Palin (in a really half hearted way, of course).

She was also sucking off Trump's ego in her 2019 book apparently, so it's not like she's gonna win any friends outside the MAGAsphere assuming she pulls off a miracle and wins the nomination.

You seem to be assuming a single point of motivated interest here. Of course we already know Fox intentionally lies. But that's not all being shown. And this is in the context of an ongoing court case that depends very much on having evidence Fox hosts knowingly lied to damage (and harass) Dominion reputation and staff. Even mere glimpses of how these decepticons socialise/interact with each other when not putting on a public act is also intriguing, what they fear, what holds them back, they must be analysed with greater scrutiny at all times. And more evidence for the official archives of their fuckery is going to help future humans either way.

15 minute cities are a fantastic idea.

What these utter fucking tools don't realise is that an 80-minute city is a 15-minute city for the rich. That's because the rich have the money to buy expensive houses near workplaces, and it's the less affluent who get squeezed out into whatever inconvenient hinterland.

Although honestly, I suspect these tools are middle class, and what they're bothered about is the idea of not having their choice of suburban home and multiple SUVs.

This is what happens when people don't have interests or hobbies. They become personality voids that get taken over by the thickest demons to escape the fuckbrain dimension. We're all related to one of these bastards at some point, and secretly relieved when they pass away or join a cult that doesn't allow outside contact.
