So if the new Overwatch hero was a woman and an article called her "Hot" people would lose their minds and they would write articles bashing gamers for objectifying her. Most of them also written by Kotaku. But this is okay though? Gotta love the hypocrisy.

Kotaku is such a big joke, that even some non-gamers are starting to realize their bullcrap. They're not even worth the energy being upset over. They do deserve to be called out at every turn though, but I rather not waste my energy focusing on them at all. It's why I avoid most news coming from them. Even when they're trying to be "neutral" or just present the facts, they still try to either manipulate something, or make it grander than what it is.

Kotaku was a product of gawker, which would regularly put forward article bashing evil tax dodging rich, while itself being based in the Cayman island to avoid tax. It died because they posted revenge porn... Then again the hypocrisy might be the point, to paraphrase the famous saying on publicity, no such "no such things as a bad click".

PC Specs for Jedi Survivor. For non-amd users, it's i7-7700 and GTX 1070 for min, and i5-11600k and RTX 2070 for recommended. Plus 8 GB RAM on DX12. And 155 GB of storage.

Tiny bit on a beefy side if you ask me, but still better specs than whatever TLOU specs were supposed to be.

Really hope the game is worth all the specs its asking for

Developers aren't bothering with optimization anymore; they're just leaning on gamers to buy even more expensive equipment to keep up.

No, that's... not a thing. That's no hypocrisy. Please stop making my eyes roll so hard, dad.
And no I'm not gonna explain why the argument that "if this thing that was said was a different thing that was said, that would be wrong" is not a good faith argument.

I agree. But there’s asking for specs that are just barely capable, and then there’s asking for a ridiculous specs. Usually i see terrible performance on games that falls on that second category, although there were games in the first category with tons of issues

I'm sure they'd call Brigitte hot, but they were too busy complaining that she epitomized police brutality.

The PS4 version of the first game was such a piece of shit that I had to stop playing it. I don't know why a not particularly good looking game ran so poorly while Titanfall 2 ran just fine, but Respawn better get their shit together for this.

More likely, the real reason Capcom decided to be a coward and not age Jill alongside her male costars is that in pop culture there’s nothing scarier than women aging like normal human beings. Look no further than the fact that Chun-Li’s character model in Street Fighter 6looks almost as young as she did in Street Fighter II. While we could chalk Chun-Li and Jill’s lack of aging to them being born with good genes (altered genes in Jill’s case) it’s pretty obvious that Capcom is hesitant to create more obviously aged renditions of its various female characters. Though Capcom could chalk up Chunner, Cammy, et al’s ageless appearance to Street Fighter’s admittedly messy timeline, it, much like Jill’s lack of aging, smacks of how a woman’s value in our society is closely tied to beauty and a youthful appearance. As much as it fails to surprise, it still sucks to see.

Well ultimately Capcom knows sex still sells and is all like -

I am glad this is the product of Blizzard cleaning house on the misogynistic devs. They can learn a few lessons from EA of all publishers and hope they learn well

We need more badass old women, or older women that look exactly like their age and not like they're still in their early 40s or 30s. Even Pokemon is getting in on this now. What's your excuse Capcom?

Edit: At least Chun-li looks like she has aged even though she still looks youngish. A similar case for Cammy. Chun-LI is 55 now, and Cammy is 48 now. Let that sink in. Where does the time fly?
