Is your point that they've all been sued for defamation?
No, my point is that only one has been (effectively successfully) sued for institutionally pushing what it knew to be a gross unthruth on a topic of critical national interest to its audience.

Pointing out that other media organisations make mistakes or can be frivolously sued doesn't really equate.

"Make mistakes"..... sure.
Media have biases and push angles which may often be dubious, they can be sloppy and make mistakes (which may also be due to bias). But you show another instance where a major media corporation has deliberately and aggressively pushed lies on a matter so important.

After all, your ripostes were nothing more than a oversensitive politico and a student who sued companies for jumping on the 24h rolling news bandwagon before additional contextual evidence was in. If your response to someone saying Hitler was the worst person ever is to rebut with a link to Martha Stewart getting jailed for fraud, you'd rightly either be assumed ironic or laughed out of the room.

Interesting choice of examples, but personally, I don't think questioning election machines after the fact is the unfathomably worse option than enabling literal pedophile island.

Dominion is full of cowards, I would have pushed it into the trial. Now we have to deal with Fox News for another decade or more.

Dominion is a business, and did the smart thing for a business: that settlement is about 8 times its annual revenue and there is always the possibility that a court case may not have gone their way. But I agree, it's a great shame from a public service element.

He swings... he misses!

This is of course not the same issue at all. it's both misrepresenting the nature of what Fox did wrong, and inaccurately comparing to a very different scenario, which is probably also why you've moved from citations to vague accusations.

Don't count the chickens before the hatch. Tucker just became the martyr for the "truth" of the stolen election. Whatever channel takes him up gets an in-built audience of dunces and morons with lots of money for survival seeds and supplements.

How is Bill O'Reilly doing nowadays? I suspect his post-Fox career could be instructive as to how things could shake out with Tucker Carlsson.

He'll probably make his own podcast or TV show and make even more money flogging supplement or w/e to his gullible fan.

I'd say InfoWars, but due to a one and a half billion judgement against that enterprise, its not viable in the long term.

. A lot of people who hang on Tucker's words already find Fox as a whole to be too liberal.
A lot of these ultra conservatives and followers of these ultra conservatives love screwing each other over, despite sharing the same or common goals. You know the saying: hell is other people. So they can enjoy all their hell together, and fuck off.

Daily wire is likely to be looking to negotiate contracts, they offered a complete idiot like Steven Crowder a $50 million one, which he still turned down publicly, I've no doubt all that Koch/Heritage Foundation etc money can stretch to accommodate someone with a tad more experience at kuntbuggery, and they're in the process of trying to grow their media ecosystem. Doubt infowars are hiring at mo, they were supposed to bring on an awful woman calling herself 'Alison Wonderland' some while back and she has still not appeared, along with the absence of any other newcomers too.
