Shhh, that part is currently being downplayed. If the "moral majority" were to ever gain power, Catholics, even conservative ones, would very quickly find themselves on the wrong side of the new purity testing. You're just not supposed to say that out loud while their support is still needed.
The Pope stopped being infallible to American conservatives when he said that God doesn't love white people more than everyone else.
This Pope has literally never invoked infallibility and likely never will.
They are targeting all ships. If the US doesn't allow trade through the Red Sea, some countries get agricultural products from trade, and those countries could get famines like the one that happened in Yemen from the Saudis, and Yemen growing illicit drugs for the market.
Which hasn't stopped others from assigning it to him. (And then revoking it when he stops letting them feel like God's special little creations.)
They're definitely not targeting all ships because they don't have the capability-- the Houthis lack large naval ships and their sphere of reach doesn't even cover much of the Red Sea.
That said, they're also not just attacking ships supplying Israel with military stuff. They've claimed responsibility for attacks on the Swan Atlantic (a Norwegian ship carrying vegetable oil) and MSC Clara (Panaman commercial container ship), according to Al Jazeera.
They said they wanted to target all ship bound for Israel. It is meant to be a full embargo, not just a weapon embargo.

I was under the impression Gergar12 thought the Houthis were targeting ships that aren't even going to Israel.
According to Haaretz, Swan Atlantica was sailing to Reunion, and MSC Clara was sailing to UAE. Galaxy Leader was sailing to Indonesia. Al Jasrah was sailing to Singapore.

Despite what the Western media is saying. The Israeli economy is in shambles and is suffering from high goods prices, low exports, and staffing issues(From the West Bank, and IDF soldiers/reservists being called up). An economy that is down 15% is a recession, and halfway to a depression given this lasts year at 30% less growth.
Ah, but a good war distracts the local voters from how bad the economy is going, at least for a time. They'll soon have lots of new territory as well.
