There is no such thing as a reasonable candidate for the Republican or Democratic parties. They are tools of the entrenched oligarchy and no reasonable person should vote for them.
So who should they vote for, in that two party system without preferential voting?

You're saying nothing. You're not even doing the most basic attempt to organise and promote a third or even fourth option to vote for. You're just making meaningless noise which makes you feel better about being an armchair rebel.

Including Bernie Sanders?

Yes, the only way to get anything done in the US system is to vote the better of the two parties in the actual election and try to correct the course of that particular parties via primaries (and, if you have the time, voluntary activism).

Not voting is support for the status quo.

But what if my need for ideological purity and related "moral superiority" is more important than harm reduction or getting anything done?

He's actively promoting apathy that he knows will get Donald Trump into power, which he hopes will trigger a bloody civil war that kills the rich and brings about his ideal socialist utopia. If a lot of other people have to die along the way, that's a price he's willing to pay.

the fewer people vote for Republicans or Democrats, the faster we can be rid of their cancerous hold on US politics.

Without meaningful organisation towards one of the alternatives, all this does is give the core parties more leeway to lean into the worst of their die-hard followers. No one wants that.

Right-wing infiltrating the police isn't the same as the police being racist.

Been my point for awhile, I don't get why anyone votes for either party.

So who should they vote for, in that two party system without preferential voting?

More than 2 parties are on the ballot. People in general don't realize how much power they have. Why would you have to organize? Everyone on their own can quickly look up each candidate and vote for the one they think is best.

That's technically true. It's just that they have a huge and direct relationship and overlap, and each helps to explain the other.

People in general don't realize how much power they have. Why would you have to organize?
...it's like you tried to contradict yourself in as few words as possible.

I'll take that one on the chin, engaging with you is in fact meaningless noise.
