Huh so apparently Valve still makes game, and they're making a hero shooter. I mean, why not, with overwatch essentially dead.

This is pretty standard for WoW expansions. And the 90 dollar edition comes with 15 dollars of game time which you'd have to buy in addition with each other edition. Which basically makes the price of the 70 dollar and 90 dollar editions the same. Which I don't really understand, if you're gonna buy the 70 one you might as well just buy the 90 and get all the extras wince you have to buy a game sub anyway.A/B's pricing for WOW's new expansion:

For the record, the prices go from $50, 70, and then $90.
WTF for a second there I thought I was looking at Ubisoft game. So people have to pay the highest amount just for the early-access?
It's still slightly below Ubisoft prices, but it's like asking if you prefer to be impaled to death or be thrown into a woodchipper
The first game can be finished in 4 to 5 hours too. More than likely a speed runner putting this information out. If.x.com

7 years of development for a 4 hour game? Hmm....I smell another studio about to die.
Do speedrunners get review copies? The first game can be finished in 4 to 5 hours too. More than likely a speed runner putting this information out. If.
I was expecting 7 to the 15 hours of this game I need to play more games or we're only fooling themselves to expect ten plus hours. On the first play through, most people will probably complete the game in 6-8 hours, just like the first game.
$50 for a 4-hour game. I know we alredy established pricings doesn't necessarily translate to the hours, but we had AA games that asks for less and offered far more engagement.x.com

I'm not even fussed about the price, I'm fussed with all the fucking development time for a game that short. FF7 Remake and Rebirth where made in 5 years and 3 years a piece and both have 60+ hours worth of content.$50 for a 4-hour game. IDK, this is something I would expect from $20 game. Was expecting more
I share the same skepticism about Hellblade 2 and I actually feel a little guilty about it because the first game was beloved and it seems to mean so much to some people but... like I was listening to one of their leads on Friends Per Second podcast talking about narrative and braggning about how there's no HUD, which.. whatever... and when asked about combat he talked about how combat was important and tells a story. Story story story... I like me a story but I'll be pleasantly surprised if this game is, like... game.I'm not even fussed about the price, I'm fussed with all the fucking development time for a game that short. Hellblade 2 better be the best looking fucking game in history, I wanna see ever single pore on Senua's ass to justify that much dev time for a game with no content. 7 years this was in development...there's just no reason. If graphical fidelity took you this much work, then it's absolutely not worth it because if you fart out the same combat and same stupid puzzles, then you are just a joke of a game's studio I'm sorry.
I least games that brag about story so heavily have a lot of it. Death's Stranding is barely a game but it's at least long and worth the investment of time. When you can't tell me how your game actually plays then I know it's going to play like shit or barely be a game in the first place. I mean those fucking Until Dawn games are longer than 4 hours and have some replay value on top of that.I share the same skepticism about Hellblade 2 and I actually feel a little guilty about it because the first game was beloved and it seems to mean so much to some people but... like I was listening to one of their leads on Friends Per Second podcast talking about narrative and braggning about how there's no HUD, which.. whatever... and when asked about combat he talked about how combat was important and tells a story. And no I'm not being a console warrior here (though I do think it's stupid it's console exclusive but I feel that way about all console exclusives including the ones I can play).

For the record everyone, The first game was about $30 digital, $40 physical when it came out.I'm not even fussed about the price, I'm fussed with all the fucking development time for a game that short. The combat is more or less the same, but now battles are more one on one. To compensate, enemies are more aggressive and have evasion options. I heard this from the Gamespot preview. Ninja theory have never been the best with combat for most of their games.I share the same skepticism about Hellblade 2 and I actually feel a little guilty about it because the first game was beloved and it seems to mean so much to some people but... like I was listening to one of their leads on Friends Per Second podcast talking about narrative and braggning about how there's no HUD, which.. whatever... and when asked about combat he talked about how combat was important and tells a story. Funny enough. The first game has only gotten even more praise. At ground zero, it was the least expected that DMC fans/action game fans would hate the game. Most of them didn't have a problem with it, and could see ninja theory have matured. You had a few of them on youtube biatch and moan, or call the game "too shallow", but most understood what type of game they were making and it was not meant for them. Even Woolie and Pat gave nothing but praise to this game. Both are well known haters of DmC 2013.Prediction: it will get 9/10 review scores and the reviews will include the word "despite.." and then in like 3 years reddit and forums like this will be full of threads calling the game overrated.
Yeah that's kind of why I made the prediction- it's now a sequel with a lot of expectation behind it. And internet discourse has only gotten meaner and faster.Funny enough. I remember all of that pile of crap.a game we all already forgot out btw
Most of them ain't gonna do shit. I like Reeves and everything, but I don't worship ground he walks, nor does he like that behavior. Beyonce, I respect enough, but her music got too poppish and boring. Swift, I have personal issues, but before the shit with her boyfriend and her not acknowledging the really toxic part of her fan base (the racists ones), I lost respect for, even though I don't like her music. Besides, Beyonce and Swift fans are peons compared to Anita Baker and Sade fans. We don't bother people, if some people dislike them nor not a fan of their music. Fans like us don't start shit. We just want to chill and Jam. Though if you start something, depending on the fan, it won't end well. Fuck around and find out. It's not even games- go try criticising Taylor Swift or Beyonce or Keanu Reeves or whatever outside of your close personal IRL circle and see what happens.
No, it's always been there. There is no "catching up".I guess gamr culture has just caught up to the insufferable nature of all pop culture so... progress, of a sort? *shrug*
I always tell those people I don't care, or fuck off when they try to get too in my face about it.t's like it's not enough for something to be good or ok or appeal to some people, it's OMG YOU HAVE TO LOVE IT.... until it becomes cool to shit on it.
