Progress on PS4 emulation has made impressive progress in the last month or so. Ok, it's basically just one game, and they're still using all kinds of hacky workarounds just to make it work. But something as high profile as Bloodborne will probably fast track PS4 emu as a whole, much like Wii U when Breath of the Wild released and massively increased interest. And like Cemu, and a bit of luck, the lessons learned from getting one game running can be applied to get all games running, or at least many.

I've had a look at how to get this playable, but just getting the game to run on the emulator is already a lot of setup work. Also, no copy of Bloodborne or a PS4 to rip it with. Otherwise I'd already given this a go.
Just need to hope Sony doesn’t pull a Rockstar and shut it down once it looks like it’ll be playable on decent rigs. Hell, it even sounds like they’ll have them beaten soon if the talks of Red Dead 2010 hitting PC are true.

I have not finished watching it as of this post, but it does partially cover a subject we are not allowed to discuss.

I watched a video and after the 24 minute mark. He really just goes all in on Nick. It's not even really about gaming journalism anymore after that point. All I can see is Frost is clearly fighting his own little war. I'm personally not subscribing to his YouTube channel, but that doesn't mean I actually like Nick either. Frost also said he is remaining independent and that he's going after others like Nick that are in more powerful positions. Since that's what he chooses to fight for, the best of luck to him on that end.

Why are we not allowed to discuss it? Well I'm gonna...

I listened to the video. Certainly spending 25 minutes defending muckraking journalism and early 20th century workers rights activism will make my embittered socialist heart more open to an argument.
Overall it's tough to argue with a guy providing screenshots of actual conversations and records. I did detect a bit of self-aggrandizement and one always has to be wary of showcasing individual pieces of communication with the context of the author's choosing. If I had to guess Frost is generally correct but exaggerating a bit.

As someone who happily joined the patreon and very much enjoys regularly listening to Yahtzee, Jack, Marty, and KC, I was mostly wondering why if Nick is bad, the others are sticking with him. Frost's conclusion- that basically the ones that don't have safety-nets (Yahtzee, Jack) don't really have other options because no one else would hire them is a devastating one, really brutal. But plausible. As his conclusion re: Jack and Marty's leadership and business short-coming, I wouldn't be surprised if that is accurate.

Nothing was going to change my habit of listening to SecondWind's streams and videos either way honestly since it's not just Nick it's a bunch of folks and my entertainment isn't hinged on the entertainers' business acumen. If the whole thing collapses I won't regret buying a t-shirt and having thrown a few sheckles at a patreon.

Actually, Yahtzee has a safety net. It's just that he prefers somebody else to do the finances and business stuff for him. If Second Wind ever went down, he would be fine on his own for the most part, or go to somebody else if he wanted to.

That is what I meant to say, I guess I phrased it poorly. Yahtzee can always make a living and so can Jack. KC probably since he had the Ubisoft job but he can't just rely on his value as creative as Yahtz and Jack do. JM8 teaches and works in game dev.

Frost, on the other hand- I guess someone's paying him to make these videos? I know he has done voice over work which- of course- but he says he's gonna keep making videos, I guess it's just add revenue from youtube or something?
