Vance I would guess.
... what's the remaining 3.6%? Surprise Jeb takeover?

I'd love to say these Trump/AOC voters are naive idiots, but I voted for Obama, so...
Thankfully that was shot down a few minutes ago (though 50ish Democrats voted for it)

Even though that ***** Craig won, I'm proud to say I at least didn't vote for her and it's because of shit like this.

The meme government efficiency department has two unelected bosses
We are in the dumbest possible timeline
I thought government departmental heads were commonly appointed. Down here the Prime Minister makes a written recommendation to the Governor General about who to appoint as the Secretary of a Department of State. The meme government efficiency department has two unelected bosses
I knew this was gonna be the dumbest 4 years of my life, I just didn't think it would start this early
The bigger joke is that the department dedicated to cutting excess jobs has 2 bosses.I thought government departmental heads were commonly appointed. Down here the Prime Minister makes a written recommendation to the Governor General about who to appoint as the Secretary of a Department of State.
I mean those guys should probably have to divest themselves of all the other hats they wear lest the speak through the wrong one, but I don’t see it as unusual for them to be directly appointed in this manner.
I wonder which one of them is the actual Departmental Secretary. Like you can’t have two unless the department has two distinct functions or is partnered with another agency. The bigger joke is that the department dedicated to cutting excess jobs has 2 bosses.

I notice the capitalised G great for Elon there, that doesn’t make it sound like something weird at all.
It isn't clear, but the implication is that it'll be Musk in charge? I mean, makes sense, he is the white one.
2 of the 3 private enterprises being heavily intertwined with the government and taking government money. I mean, Space X basically doesn't exist without NASA.I notice the capitalised G great for Elon there, that doesn’t make it sound like something weird at all.
So like this is the setting up of a large major bureaucratic apparatus purely for the sake of dismantling other bureaucracies which to me begs the question; what do they do when they think they’ve succeeded? Does the department get dissolved?
Also, is Elon going to resign as CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter and his other concerns? Like he can probably stay majority shareholder but surely there’s a conflict of interest/probity issue with him being I charge of a government body AND three high profile private enterprises.
We had this state premier (governor) a decade ago. He would create all these wonderful 'programs' that would help people. He then deliberately underfunded them and then blamed every worker in that program for it failingMaybe Trump is gonna pull a Democrats and say he WANTS to get all this cool shit done like the tariffs and whatnot but realizes now it's an incredibly stupid idea that'll make everyone hate him so he has to hamstring himself so he can "try to push it through" without the risk of it actually passing.
He's just pulling members to be in his cabinet rather than getting a rotating villain like Manchin or Sinema to block it
I gotta point out that Twitter is now a political arm of the governmentI notice the capitalised G great for Elon there, that doesn’t make it sound like something weird at all.

The president always has been. Why didn't Nixon get arrested?Lets not forget the SCOTUS just said he was all powerful and above the law.
And when democrats say 'we gotta censor social media', you guys are like 'yay!"I gotta point out that Twitter is now a political arm of the government
Trump is assassinated and we get Vance.... what's the remaining 3.6%? Surprise Jeb takeover?

Not just three high profile private enterprises, but at least two of those made significant amount of money from government contracts and subsidies. Never understood why government stayed on Twitter to begin with. It feels like if the government wanted a social media presence they should be hosting an instance of one of the federated FOSS options like Mastodon and mandating it be used for any kind of official social media statements. Not least because they would then have the power to archive their own instance (and thus government communications), and so long as the instance federates freely it can be seen and interacted with by all other instances. It's noteworthy that the other Twitter-alikes to have popped up (like Gab, Threads, and Truth Social) run on essentially a modified version of Mastodon with federation disabled, so it's up to the task.I gotta point out that Twitter is now a political arm of the government
