Dispatch, a Superhero dispatch agency game. It's from the guys who did The Wolf Among Us and Tales from Borderlands, so I guess we know what to expect.

Crimson Desert continues to look awesome! It's coming in late 2025.

One last swear-to-god announcement; Naughty Dog's new IP, Intergalacing: The Heretic's Prophet. It's directed by Neil Drunkmann, so take that you will.

When the dude gets his head out of his own miserable butthole he actually knows his stuff, and from the looks of this reveal trailer this is NOT going for a dark dreary tone, so hopefully we'll be okay.

I am glad Naughty Dog is finally moving away from contemporary aesthetics - if I had to see one more dilapidated suburban home or office building...

Also, props for the background faux anime. That looked almost legit.

I doubt it'll go Soulsborne and I will take this any day over the Ni-Oh games.

Witcher 4! And it's starring witcheress Ciri! meaning her witcher ending in W3 is canon

We really don't know that necessarily. I mean, makes sense, but it's also possible she ended up surviving the White Frost in the "bad" ending and just didn't want to see Geralt; or that while she was preparing to take over the throne, a bunch of crazy politics stuff happened and she left for the "empress" ending. Why she's a witcher will be the easy part to explain.
The tough part will be why she fights like a witcher- potions, spells, etc- and not as "the lady of time and space" who can teleport and cut down riders of the Wild Hunt in one hit. Or why she chooses not to... I mean, obviously wait and see.

I'm a little disappointed they didn't have the guts to just make a whole new character but I'm glad they are going with a bespoke character and not a build-your-own like so many clamored for (and that was actually the original idea for the first game). Geralt as a person was a key part of what made the series a success.

But, yeah, u/CriticalGaming correct- I'm certainly not blocking any calendar time for this, it's far away. That said, maybe not THAT far if they're using Unreal Engine instead of their own clobbed together engine?

Believe it or not I'm as excited for Okami 2 as I am Witcher 4. I played the original on a whim with my GameFly subscription when that was a thing (with physical game discs in the mail!) and was delighted.

Neva won the woke award (Impact). A silly award but I loved that game so I'm glad it got it's 3 seconds of recognition.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown won for accessibility.
FF7:2:2 won for score, I think? It's a good score.

The puppets at the show even mocked ER for being nominated. Which was funny and nice that Geoff was self-aware that the choice to put that there was a bad one.

I just learned Statler & Waldorf were presenters at the show. Guess that beats another Kojima wankfest, but also kinda cringe.

Also, if Jim Henson were alive, he'd use Kermit to strangle Keighley.
