I don't really think the physical console needs to change all that much. And certainly the carts have enough space to support pretty much anything. The Switch 2 only really needs to change the internals to boost it's power.
Largest Switch cart currently available is actually 64gb. Tho since few Switch games exceed 16gb, 16gb is the largest size used in general. Most games that are over 16gb just use a 16gb cart and include a code to download the rest. Only a couple dozen using the 32gb variant (eg Witcher 3). Dont know if any games actually use a 64gb cart. Maybe NBA 2K23 or NBA 2K24, but given those are both 2K cheaping out by just being roster updates of like NBA 2K20, I doubt they shelled out for the largestt size.

That said, Switch carts aren't actually traditional rom carts, but basically flash memory in a proprietary form factor. There's no technical reason preventing Nintendo from offering, say, 256gb carts, but I doubt they will cuz of cost.

Easy there now fella we don't go talkin bout no job security round these parts you hear me?
PowerWash Sim kills off VR support in bid to provide "job security" for the team

"I know that if you were in my position, you would have made the same decision," says CEO.

PowerWash Simulator.

Powerwash Simulator studio FuturLab "won't be continuing support" of its VR version, PowerWash Simulator VR.
In a statement, FuturLab CEO Kirsty Rigden said that whilst the team "absolutely love and believe in VR", it wasn't "able to continue with support right now".

"We have been faced with a crossroads: we have a truly excellent and kind VR team who were working on a platform which costs us more than it makes, while also having a list of job openings that were looking to be filled on other projects," Rigden said in a statement posted to social media.

The VR team has now been redeployed to "other projects/roles".

"Whilst I would love to live in a world where we could support PowerWash Simulator on every platform going, I will always choose job security for my team. Every time," Rigden concluded.

"While I know that you must be so disappointed, I also know that if you were in my position, you would have made the same decision."

Following a festive bout of generosity with December's free PowerWash Simulator update, FuturLab recently announced the squirt 'em up's next blast of paid DLC, this time themed around Lancashire's premier Wensleydale gobblers, Wallace & Gromit. It doesn't have a release date yet, but FuturLab says it's out this year and "coming soon".

Yep. I am definitely seeing some resemblance to W3; The dark fantasy setting, the eerie music, etc. It actually looks really dope!

This thing did something great. I never liked the OG Nosferatu vampire look, it didn't look epic or scary, and I'm used to seeing this look applied to mindless ghouls and not someone as badass as whoever that vampire was in the trailer. So having that bias working against it, it still hyped me up to no end despite that. And they seem to be using some of what I colloquially call "anime vampire magic", making that guy riding away on his horse explode from the inside is nuts and there was some sort of hypnosis or daze spell cast for a moment too.

Come to think of it, I've not had a good vampire game since Code Vein, it's been like 7 years or something, we were overdue for another one. Story seems cool too, there's the black plague and your little sister is ill so they turn her and then I guess you turn yourself to keep her company. There's definitely tons of room to work with there.

Yeah I am not too excited for this. Not only because movies based on horror games have notorious reputations for being bad or mediocre (Alone in the dark, Resident Evil), burt because this game is one of those narrative-driven games based on the player choice. There is no way for the movie to capture what choices were made by millions of people who played the game.

Also, no preview of the wendio, which is kind of a bummer

That is literally the name right now. I am not making it up. This a weird one. Has a very Nier Automata aesthetic with the monochrome white, black, and grey. I smell combo videos!

□□□□□□□ [x][[[[[[[[[[[[] (name deliberately obfuscated for now) is a small episodic game solo-developed by Stephen Ddungu between September 2023 and March 2024, as a practice project while developing Sword Of Symphony. The game is set canonically DURING the development of Stephen Ddungu's projects, (e.g: PURPOSE, Sword Of Symphony etc.) Events in each chapter take place in an enigmatic location called '[The Garden]' which serves as the border between Stephen's projects. Here, all the ideas that exist in Stephen's projects are separated, by the concept of infinity itself, from all other projects and that which does not exist - being Stephen's scrapped designs, unfinished concepts and unused ideas.

It is also the place where existing ideas causing inconsistencies are removed or fixed. Certain chapters hold huge importance to the Stephen Ddungu's projects, particularly in their current unfinished state, as Stephen continues to make progress towards their completion. It has also been planned since 2021 for the game's story to be instrumental to the ending of Sword Of Symphony in particular - making it essential to its canon.

I'm rooting for this movie to succeed mostly due to the director. He used to make animations and horror shorts which he uploaded to his YouTube channel until he was discovered by Hollywood and invited to make a feature length version of one of his shorts which was well received and he then went on to make Annabelle: Creation and Shazam, two well received films, all the while continuing to release videos on his YouTube channel about aspects of film making and horror shorts.

Then he hit a snag after making the poorly received Shazam 2. Nonetheless, I hope it's a good movie, obviously.

I mean, the wendigo wasn't previewed in the game either - it was the big twist.

I'm more confident with Sandberg involved, and their approach at least takes it into a different direction. Still not too interested in this though.
