Da fuck....? It don't matter much, because fan artists do this anyway. But what the hell was going up with upper management at NoA? Somebody or some people more than likely had a hidden fetish, but didn't want to admit it.

Was having trouble sleeping last night and found this guy. He goes DEEP into the lore, I'd almost argue he's better than Vaatividya. Not sure how much of it is his speculation, but he tells a very compelling story. And of course you don't have to sleep to it; I've been listening while I work; at +2 videos, they're basically books on tape, and well told ones at that. And they do the same for several other games, i.e.: not FromSoft games.

@FakeSympathy, Good news on Mafia: Old Country,

Yeah I might start speaking w/ Italian accent. And I'm Asian! It looks really good, and thank god it's not an open-world.

In other news, we have this bullshit

Hmm, so these morons would rather side with pedos and the reputation of their games, rather than the children in the playerbase. WTF

Admitting to the problems might open them up to legal action. Much "better" to attack anyone who reveals said problems.

Either somebody at the very top is a predator as well, or they're covering for somebody that is. If they don't want to look suspicious, they should have not even gone after somebody trying to stop these sick bastards. Hey government, feel free to actually do something and get rid of these bastards and shut down the servers until somebody is better qualified. You won't? Well fuck you too!

Max's hands on with Onimusha: WotS.

@hanselthecaretaker2, @Old_Hunter_77, @NerfedFalcon, @CriticalGaming, and @Dirty Hipsters, this game is not a Souls style game. This is straight up linear action game. It's not DMC/Bayonetta/GoW/NG style, but a good player can be stylish if they're skilled enough.
Another talking glove? What is going here lol

I was watching Gamescom live yesterday and there were a LOT of such 3D action walking around hitting dudes with a sword games but for some reason this was the only one that looked appealing to me. I don't know why exactly- not because it's not a soulslike, not becuase I played the originals because I didn't, not because it's easy because I'm sure Max and I have very different ideas of "easy." Something about just got my attention, while all the others just made me roll my eyes and check my emails.

What will interest me is: game length, smoothness of controls, enemy design, and if there are any stupid difficulty spikes.

didn't, not because it's easy because I'm sure Max and I have very different ideas of "easy."
I know the older games are much harder, but this is nothing new for modern capcom. The first few levels will always be easy or easy enough, and then the difficulty starts to ramp slowly. Usually. Max wants the kick-you-in-the-teeth-hard, PS2, Normal. The game will get challenging, but it's not gonna start by stabbing you in the genitals.

There is an easy story mode, if you want it. Max does mention this in the video. In the very beginning.

Yeah.. I'm cool with options of course but personally I just always want to play in normal/default difficulty in games unless I get stuck near the end. Like recently I quit Lies of P without even bothering with the new easier difficulties because the default challenge is part of the game and if I'm not enjoying that then I'm not enjoying the game. Especially with games like these where combat is kind of the main point.
If Onimusha is challenging that's fine I just hope it's not easy at first and then just spikes all weird. That is also my general hope for any game. I think a lot of games will thrown in stupid spikes like that, cheap ways to extend play time as opposed to a natural, fair and interesting challenge curve.

If you looking for games with much more even difficulty curves, I can recommend DmC 2013. The definitive version even more so. If you don't have your PS5 anymore, then just to get the pc version. It's not the definitive edition, but it'll work well enough for you
